I didnât enjoy the cook along much. Clearly the ones in front had an advantage. They couldâve Atleast had a large screen so that those behind could see Chef Manu.
Also, Iâve met chef Manu at one of his restaurants and even spoken to him (I didnât know he was famous), he walked up to tables and spoke to patrons, and he seemed like a nice warm person. Even on a previous season of Masterchef he was so different. This time he seemed kind of not interested and even arrogant.
While I like cook along challenges, I think the chefs need to slow down a bit, I literally noticed by the time the contestants run to get the pots and pans, chef Manu had already gone a step or two ahead. While the chef had everything on his counter, the contestants had to go get it.
Coming to the dish, a shorba is a hot soup. Iâve tried cold soups, but thatâs not what I expect when I order tomato soup. And if I order soup, I expect a liquid and not a jelly. Also, there was more of other stuff than the jelly/soup. All in all, it wasnât appetizing at all.
Chef Ranveer, as others have pointed out is quite rude to Archana - she couldnât have survived on plain luck for this long, she not Usha tai! Also that muche mundwa loonga comment was very disparaging. Also with Gaurav, bante bante ban hi jata hai - isnât that the case with everyone? Why so rude?
Iâm so happy Rajiv, in spite of the disadvantage he received made the best dish. Also, Rajivâs advantage was to spin the wheel of fortune first? What a horrible advantage.
Also, the pairs - clearly pre decided. I already feel bad for Archana and Gaurav - the two that chef Ranveer detests are together. Hope they pull off a miracle.
