I doubt either of them is converting. They’ve been together for a good 4-5 years now. If either of them were that religious they wouldn’t have dated each other and stuck to each other for five years. Also if this was an issue for her family it would have been addressed in these five years.

In that interview her dad also said that his daughter’s happiness is what’s important for him and his family, and that he would like to dance in front of the baraat. I still think her family is making these statements just to throw the media off or just avoid answering altogether. Yes, saying things like kids don’t ask parents these days was just asking for people to gossip about you , but all in all I think everything is fine.

Now if the news that the reception is at Bastian is true then this might be a very small wedding. Isn’t Bastian just a regular restaurant? How many people can you fit in there? 100? 🤷🏽‍♀️

Saif Kareena also had registered marriage in Year 2012. They didn’t get married because she was pregnant.

Nah it's probably because of the religious differences. They don't want any drama wrt what ceremony to do.

Oh come on registered marriage? Does that mean we don’t get any of those aayaram gayaaram pics and gets to discuss those dresses etc

I was wondering if they will have Hindu or Muslim ceremony. Look like Registered marriage was safest option.

So this says they have already had the registered marriage, and on June 23rd it's only going to be a party. So we won't get to see sonakshi as a bride? 🙁 I wonder why they decided to do it this way, there must be a reason, everything so hush hush and a registration marriage.

Maybe they did it to avoid having a religious ceremony, that's possible, just would have been nice to see sonakshi as a bride
