Anupamaa can't own up her mistakes to herself, then how to expect her to voice it out and confess?

That will put a big blot on her perfectly built image of the helpless, rejected, full on loving mother who sacrificed everything for others' happiness and got kicked by all despite her best effort.

Nobody valued her as a dutiful spouse, a loving and caring mother, a perfect bahu, a successful entrepreneur, a soft spoken neighbour, a supportive sautan, ex sautan, friend, whatever....

She stood up for everyone but no one stood for her.

She stood for herself

When she messed up her already entangled past n present( which is now past too), n couldn't draw a line between ex n present, she fled.

She hid.

She exiled herself.

She did it well. So well, that nobody could trace her.

N meanwhile, she wove another image for herself. The one where she got abandoned.

Victim.

If only she knew her priorities.

Atleast when Anuj entered in the show he was like a breath of fresh air. But this Deepu and entire family is just like Anupama cring, boring, stereotypical with usual Punjabi words in the cliche dialogues here and there.

I am not at all enjoying their scenes.

Disagree so hard. Biji is an awesome, sweet character. She's honestly the best character in the show right now. And nothing she's saying is stereotypical lmao, she's legit like your average Punjabi grandma. Her scenes are the only tolerable ones imo.

I am not saying that she is bad. I am just saying the entire family and the concept is so predictable and boring. Like we know they are gonna like Anupama, sooth her, help her etc. Nothing new, that's why it's boring for me.

Scene 1

Anuj: How have you been, Anu?

Anu: i'm cool.

Anuj: 5 long yrs! I've looked everywhere for you. You kept yourself away from us all n even came to USA.

Anu: my udaan happened. Except it was from a kitchen to another. I call it progress.

And yes million $ question - why she went back to Toshu? Because of Kinjal and her Pari.....There is no limits to Justifications!!! When they could rationalize leaving a loving husband while taking all brickbats from Vanraj, then the makers can justify pretty much everything!!!

Basically she’s preparing Deepu for his upcoming life as pati number 3, hope they stay friends only but even to be a ‘friend’ he has to brace himself and be ready to face Mishter Vanraj Boastful Shah and Pathetic Majboor Kapadia.

oh and why did she go back to Toshu’s when he clearly doesnt want her there?🤔

In the 3rd or 4th Marriage, She does not require anything for her, they only allow her to serve "Shahs", if they not allow her to visit Shah, she leave them for "Uske Kushi ke liye chodegi".
