This contest doesn't require us to keep our entries anonymous, right? I'll publish my Patakatales while it's still Dīpāvali season, and just PM you so that you can keep track of who participated.

Sending the entries through PM does mean that the entries will remain anonymous during voting. Publishing your entries will mean that they will not be included in the voting round.

Telling us to PM you simply tells us to PM you along with whatever else we choose to do. It doesn't imply that we shouldn't share Patakatales and feedback during the season, or that there will be open voting sometime after November 20. Whatever your rules and schedule for sharing, voting, and results may be, you should tell us clearly in the event announcement.

Will there be judges?

The word 'contest' is self-explanatory, still, in case it doesn't, it means 'competition' which means there will be several criteria to pick out the 'best' one. That also comes with voting for anonymous entries to have transparency in choosing the best. If you have plans to showcase your talents on themes around festivals you need not wait for Crazy Creatives to bring up a 'contest'. You can showcase your immense talents even without entering 'contests' organized by our team. I place this concern because it very much affects the mood of our 'contests' exactly just like how the rules of IF CoC affect your creativity.

I decided to add my five entries and the tag "Patakatales" to this book.

https://www.indiaforums.com/fanfiction/2798

I wrote one entry for each day of Dīpāvali.

Dhana-Trayodaśī

For baby brother Dhanvantari's birthday, Lakṣmī bought everyone health insurance.

Naraka-Caturdaśī

"Cleanse Prāgjyotiṣa's trade route of Yavanas like Naraka," Kṛṣṇa suggested.

Lakṣmī-pūjana Amāvāsyā

"Refugees illuminate Rantideva's overcrowded house," Lakṣmī observed. "Am I late?"

Bali-Pratipadā

"Welcome inside, Bali," Bhū said. "Life's nondiverse here, isolated, thirsty."

Yama-Dvitīyā

"Right to pollute" was Kālakūṭa's gift to Lakṣmī for Yama-Dvitīyā.

Thanks to Crazy Creatives for the prompt. I welcome feedback from everyone in the comments section of each chapter, or in this topic.

If you don't want to participate in the contest or don't like contests, that's completely okay. To each their own. Nobody is obliged or being forced to participate.

Since you are not happy to be judged but still want to attempt these microtales, you are free to publish them. That just means the entries will be disqualified from the contest.
