It was Saha who was the aggressor as he took on the mantle from Gill. Boundaries just flowed in the powerplay and soon Saha was raising his bat for a 20-ball fifty. In comparison, Gill was subdued but soon upped the rate himself. Saha was set for a 100 but a fine catch ended his innings. Hardik came in at 3 and was looking to go for it from ball one. At the end, Gill lost a bit of energy and mistimed a couple of shots, otherwise the 100 was well within reach. But 227 is a tremendous total on this pitch. The conditions should stay the same so LSG with their power-packed batting will hope they can put up a good fight. Back for the chase in 5 minutes...
