Queen a remake of Julia Robert’s “Eat Pray Love”

I have to say. As someone who has watched both movies. This is a very rare occasion when the Bollywood version is better than the Hollywood one. It is a lot funnier. They added a very endearing innocent layer to Kangana’s character, which she did very well. Eat Pray Love is a woman finding herself after a divorce. Queen is more about independence after a very dominating fiancé.

But it is roughly the same plot. Even Arth kind of had a similar plot.

heavily inspired? Yes

The only similar thing about both the movies is that the two women find their own identity after a failed relationship. The tones of the films are completely different.

I didn't find any similarities between the two movies.. they're very different..

I recently rewatched both. And I did not find anything similar other than two women’s journey to find themselves after a tragic experiment. They were executed very differently. That’s not a remake.
