‘Mai heroine hoon’ is Anupama’s current naara after she’s exhausted all orat and maa options…ab aayi hai baat on the shift of phocus to a possible new love angle which is directly proportional maa’s insecurity…aisa kaise ho sakta hai? Anupama is the central titular character bhai, how can something/someone else steal her thunder and make her trivial in any sense when she’s carried the show on her fragile overworked shoulders for years? ye Maaya Mukku aate jaate rahenge…Anuj bhi isliye tik gaya kyuki woh MaAn ka hissa hai warna uska bhi patta katt chuka hota….

toh bhaiya anth mein ye sabit hota hai ki Maaya ko balidaan dena hoga, na chahte hue bhi bura banna hoga…MaAn ka apMaAn chaahe AnuRaj karte rahe, MaayAn ko udaan ka mauka na milne wala…

Now this is exactly where Vanraj was last year when the whole ‘hero’ interview came to light…Woh Anuj ko na jhel saka so he was reduced to a simp puppy with no character of his own unlike what he was originally projected to be and same will happen with Maaya who was brought in to test the waters but will be butchered and offered to maa ki mahaanta needs….

They introduce new tracks because superhit show ko extend karte hi rehna hai with the drama amped up but they don't have any long term vision. New characters seem good till the time their actions and personality overshadow the loser lead couple. And hence, the likes of Maaya, Anuj, Mukku etc just become incapable of making sense or transform into negative roles.

Why are the roles of Devika, Rakhi etc heavily curtailed and become passing fads even though we are aware that their point of view is logical and probably appreciated more than Maa ki mahaanta or the constant attempts to whitewash acche pita.

Zyaada nahi bolna par Makers ki bhasha mein kahoon toh "Aakhir Apne (Anuraj) toh Apne hote hai"

This show is worse than Ekta kapoor's shows.

It's an unfortunate truth. The lead actress has become very insecure after Chhavvi's entry. She wants to hog all limelights. "Heroine Is Role Nibhane" is a desperate attempt from her to declare that only she is the heroine.

Sadly, a good show was ruined by the unreasonable demands of it's hero and heroine.

How about she says this Heroine dialogue and starts walking away but from behind a booming voice beckons to her "Tera Dhyaan kidhar hai ye tera Hero idhar hai"

She turns around to see that it's the man of her dreams Acche Pita Mishter Saah. She runs into his arms and they both dance.

Then they reopen the Michelin starred kephe with MAA as the chef and acche pita as manager shouting on her.

It is a truth universally acknowledged ki sabr ka phal meetha hota hai.. and so it was, Hina 😆 (felt good to be quoting IPK ek baar phir!)

I agree with you that the situation now mirrors what happened then with Anuj. Nothing, and no one, can be allowed to be more interesting / popular than the all knowing, all seeing, sarwa gunn sampann Maa. It's actually quite a sad state of affairs to be in where so much of your audience is deliberately rooting for anyone who's pitted against your lead. Such is the dislike for her character, that we're happy to toss aside all questions of morality in supporting a woman going after a married man, and of said married man then succumbing to her! In fact, we have the pen ready to hand to him for signing divorce papers! Bolo 😆
