Thanks, Let me know how you would like to be addressed as dear?

Yup, I am always surprised they did not show such an important part of the mental health on the show?

Hey, you can call me happy as that’s my nickname in real life too😅 how about you?

Honestly, I'm not that aware of the mental health part as well. It's too complicated to begin with and was never my interest academically, so yeah!

P.S. Did you happen to read my novel? Or are you a fan of clowngirin in forum? 😂😂

I would say both and also got kindle version and compiling a list of summer reads.

Cheers, DJ

A very thoughtful and moving glimpse into her mind, DJ. Anuj was almost a metaphor for all that she yearned for. A counterbalance for the ills that she was made to bear. Emotional abuse may not leave the visible scars that physical abuse does, but it's no less traumatic.

Exactly mental health is important and the way Anuj is portrayed almost as a pixie boy.🤔

I am stumped, spellbound.

Man, you surprised me today. 🙇‍♀️Touched the sensitive nerve and brought forth the topic, deftly hidden by maker's is such a subtle way.

If you see, this is reason for serials mass connect. Somewhere to some extent everyone has faced abuse in life and connect with Anu hoping their own life's will get better like Anu's.

Anuj is a mirage. Hence his entry got more people emotionally invested. GK was always good actor but why Anuj clicked, because of the story, hope, the alternate reality he brought in. Pair same Anuj to say Devika and they would have become normal couple of ITV. Maan is like amalgamation of two extremes - one sacrifice, abuses and another devotion, respect.

And sadly, makers SH obsession is killing that very hope and bringing negativity. They are showing that one can never break chains, breath free, fly high, ever. One needs to sacrifice, compromise, let go of self respect at every damn step.

After character assassination and now with Anuj if she can't break her Baa obsession than nothing else will, in the very end they will just show than Baa has change of heart and Anu's years of worship was successful. BS.

Also, expecting makers to show talking about mental health is futile, we saw Anu's original words in DV scene. A slap and mockery to real life abuse survivors. ITV won't show FL needing help ever, they are mahaan sacrificial type and these very traits makes them superior FL as per them. Sick but true.

Unfortunately the show is now portraying exact opposite of what it initially promised and brought viewers in.

Kudos for touching on this topic 👏👏👏

Cheers, DJ

Oh, this is surprising. I always look for your updates.

That said, I can understand the need of break from the negativity these days. I also try, fail and keep trying again

DM me, would like to stay in touch.

wow DJ. unexpected ending. thanks for being brave enough to show what the reality of an abusive marriage can culminate in, in the real world. kudos to you for taking a different approach. i hope this piece helps someone to change their perspective on mental/emotional/psychological abuse within the confines of a marriage. most of the community dont think a slap is anything to complain about…

Wow Komal a long review means this really touched you.

The statistics on violence for women and men are terrible.

I guess ITV and in India in general the request for help is seen as weak. Where as its the biggest indicator of growth and learning. The strength is shown in getting better through seeking help.

Obviously one asking for help should do in a manner that makes sense and apply it, otherwise its wasteful.

Thank you for your kind words.🤗
