A song like this needs a certain agility and deftness of movement which Samar lacks. And most importantly, it needs the audience to feel his pain. Not end up feeling pained themselves 😆

anu and vanraj took on very traditional gender defined roles in this marriage with vanraj being the disciplinarian. he definitely comes from that mindset that a career in art isnt gonna pat the bills. samar deserved better but vanraj didnt know how to be better. i still think he loves those kids to death and would kill for them.

Lol just like when Samar was in danger.. The second Vanraj heard Anuj was also trying to help, he sat back and refused to give a single flying fck about his own child. Anu was begging and pleading to Vanraj for his help but bhaisaab didn't budge.

+ TIL constantly insulting your adult son, almost slapping him over minor disagreements, & repeatedly and publicly calling him a good for nothing, loser, nachaniya is being a disciplinarian 🤪
