I don't think Karan should mention about Siddhart Shukla to people in the house at all. As it is, everyone's living in a stressful environment where fights break out everyday, someone or the other is targetted. The host favors specific few.

So the journey is not as smooth and easy, as it is for the fortunate and favored Shamita, Neha and Raqesh.

Some of them in the house (such as Pratik and Divya) who've worked in past reality shows, are just making a name for themselves - really look up to Sid Shukla and are inspired by him from BB13.

So breaking heavy news of Death, would be shocking and even traumatizing to people in the house. They don't have any other distractions and would feel terrible, that they've missed out on so much outside, especially related to a well known name.

Not to forget, they JUST met Sid & Shehnaaz 3 weeks ago! This would be too much to process in a house like that.

I dont know but I am feeling very sad . not in a position to watch BB anymore.

It would be a bigger shock to them when they would come out of the house and know that Sidharth Shukla has passed away.

But that's the game. The contestants aren't supposed to know what's happening in outside world. It could affect their game. Still Shukla was a big part of Bigg Boss so the makers could make an exception for him.

Eventually when some of the contestants from Bigg Boss OTT would enter Bigg Boss 15, the new contestants would tell them Shukla's demise. So it's not like they would be able to hide this from the contestants until they come out of the house.

Just few days ago Pratik was talking about how Sid was an exception among winners who made the most impact. 💔

I had hoped BB wouldnt reveal it to the housemates and its good they didnt. It would have put a big gloom in the house. Even for me who didnt like Sidharth, it was a shocking news and the mind has been in a bit of a gloom, and filled with thoughts about him, thinking about how young he was and of the deep sorrow of the people he has left behind. So it is a good thing they didnt -- people inside would have been deeply affected since they even met the pair a while back.
