The problem of our society why girls turn out to be the women they do not like.
On a shallow note, Saif just wasn't hot enough to explain why both the female leads were willing to sacrifice their self-respect and friendship over him. Oh, and team Veronica all the way. Stupid, regressive film. But thank God she escaped that loser!
You know it's true when the and is a meme. So true.
I don't know about sympathy but only a creepy woman would fall for a guy after seeing him doing it with her best friend/sister
Falling for Gautam, for what exactly?
It was a regressive movie with the same old mentality of distinction between girls you sleep with and girls you take you to your mother
So True. Glad you know.
Biggest mystery of the film to me is why Gautam fell for Meera or why Meera fell for Gautam..They are such a miss match that at no point am I convinced that they are really that much in love with each other that they are willing to risk the benefits of the equation they individually shared with Veronica (a no strings attached relationship for Gautam, and ofcourse the comfort and support of a much needed friendship for Meera)...
Infact Veronica's meltdown after finding Gautam loves Meera is also unconvincing, because she was never in love with him. I guess the emotions surfaced because she felt was getting "abandoned"/left behind by the two people she was closest with, who now all of a sudden are more close to each other and she has become the third wheel. A terrible feeling for someone whose parents have been neglectful, I fully understand.
The whole love triangle of the movie IMO is badly executed.

Meera because I find girls like Veronica extremely fickle minded and untrustworthy IRL!
At least Meera was not pretending to be something she ain't in order to fit in Plus girls like Veronica can never make good homemakers in the real world, so Gautam made the right decision IMO!
Imo, Veronica was lucky. Slimy Gautam and Meera deserved each other.. True, Meera can make a very good homemaker for gautam. So it all ends well for everyone.

Falling in "love" with your friends fwb is creepy. Don't know what meera saw in gautam in the first place.
Just that meera needs to keep an eye out on gautam whenever he is around her sisters or cousins. He may get drunk and do it in the heat of the moment with someone else because he had fallen in love and Ishq hogaya usse.
