Alia Bhatt’s Valentine’s Day post skips Ranbir Kapoor and Raha, focuses on mirror selfies

Actor Alia Bhatt marked Valentine’s Day with a social media post that steered clear of the expected family photographs. Instead of sharing moments with husband Ranbir Kapoor or daughter Raha, she chose a more personal route, posting a set of mirror selfies that focused on her own moods and moments.

Alia, who has been relatively selective about her Instagram presence in recent months, uploaded a photo series capturing varied looks. The images ranged from a dressed up ensemble to relaxed casual wear. One frame featured a cheese platter, adding a slice of everyday indulgence to the set.

Captioning the post, she wrote, “many many moods and wayyyyy too mannyyy mirror selfies." The tone was informal and self aware, signalling a break from the usual Valentine’s Day narrative centred on romance or family.

Fans quickly reacted in the comments section. Some expressed surprise at seeing her post on a day typically associated with couples. A user wrote, “Look who posted on the very special day." Another commented, “Oh my- everything about this dump is GIVING." A third observed, “So it’s basically a “the process" vs “the results" coded dump!"

On the work front, Alia is juggling multiple projects. She is currently filming Alpha, part of YRF’s spy universe, and Love and War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The latter also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. Alpha features Sharvari Wagh and Bobby Deol in key roles.

Recently, a report by 123 Telugu suggested tension on the sets of Alpha involving Alia and Bobby Deol. The publication claimed that creative differences emerged after Alia reportedly offered suggestions during certain scenes, including those featuring Bobby. According to the report, the situation grew uncomfortable, prompting producer Aditya Chopra to step in to ensure the shoot continued without disruption.

There has been no official response from the actors regarding these claims so far.
