@bold: Very true. Falling for someone isn't a choice but acting on it definitely is, so Meera doesn't get a free pass for kissing Gautam even if she was tipsy or didn't "mean" for it to happen. In my earlier post, I gave her that free pass because she didn't intend on it but I am reconsidering my opinion on that.

The less said about Gautam, the better, indeed.😆

Where did I deny that Meera had feelings for Gautam before the kiss? Having feelings is not a crime. Did she try to seduce Gautam away? No. She never showed any signs of having feelings. It came out only when she was drunk. She never consciously tried anything on Gautam.

I repeat, if she had no regard for Veronica then she would run away with Gautam without giving a single f*ck about Veronica. It would've been easy to do so. But she chose to sacrifice her love and suffer. What does that say about her?

Having feelings for your friends partner is a moral crime.. if you do have feelings for your friends partner, you move away.. you confide in your friend and you try to avoid the said partner.. you don't go out with them even when your friend says because the friend has no idea about your inner FEELINGS

Yes.. Meera was supposed to holdback at least for a few days to make sure Veronica was fine.. She literally had just that talk with Gautam's presence in the kitchen.. a real friend would have sought Veronica out alone and really make sure ahe was okay not get ready for the party.. so yes, once again she had no regard for Veronica until she had that breakdown.. and even then she was had I known Veronica was serious, I would never have come close to you.. even then she didn't realize that she shouldn't have come close to Gautam irrespective of Veronica's intensity of feelings

Gautam did not 'cheat' Veronica, he never gave any indication he loved her, and Veronica also did not confess anything. Meera also knew that Veronica was not the kind of girl who would go for serious stuff. So, nope, NEITHER of them was morally wrong. It sucked that Vero fell for Gautam and was not reciprocated. But that's where the sympathy for her should end. Nobody cheated or backstabbed anyone here.

You said Gautam and Veronica would have gotten married if Meera had left. No, they would not since Gautam never saw her that way. 😆If he had ANY feelings for Vero, he would've relented during her accident phase.

Gautam might not have been a perfect guy, but he was a great friend and definitely deserved love in his life.

Meera was ALSO a great friend, she literally left her life in the UK for Veronica. See, she did put Vero over Gautam in the end.

I said they were not obligated to take Veronica's permission, not that they shouldn't have told her anything.
