Sony runs a business. They invest in whoever will give them the best return. If it is A today but B tomorrow, then B will be pushed. Who knows, Sony TV viewership may be very high in some areas of India for the show. They will certainly have the data and will push that contestant.
In my mind they started with 3 contestants as worthwhile investments. One got the desired support. In the meantime one outsider upset their business model and they realized they were running a public show not a 'gharka tamasha'.
They are now left in a position that the script keeps changing everyday and like Super dancer 3, and Super Star Singer they may end up with a finish that they have lost control of. As I see it any of 3 contestants can win - and that may not be the one everyone thinks it is.

There may be a third one in the final shortlist who was under their radar at the beginning but to me the third one has been recently highlighted to maintain twist is the show, to ensure a so called eye wash competitiveness.

I think it is going to be between the outsider and the ladla! 😃

No, one part of the business model demands that one of them keep popping up plus the banker. Sony is in a good financial space now. It has its new channel subscriptions and views from more than one part of the country. It just has to keep that interest alive till the finals. Sony will wash its hands off the games once the Top 5 is declared. The Finals and prefinals are not dependent on regional traction.

Pawan turned 25 on his recent bday.

He sings well. It’s unfair to make statements against him just because he is praised by the judges or guests.

He deserves the praises he gets. The rest of the contestants get praised a lot too. Why pick one out?

Is it just because he was given a gift by Amitkumar and the dholok guy? He plays well and has played it since childhood. Nothing wrong in appreciating his talent, I think.

everyone has their own favorites. Doesn’t make one contestant better than other. There is room for everyone in the industry. Depends on how they build on the chances they get in life. I really don’t think it matters who wins. It’s a jinxed spot I think! Plus the winner is probably stuck with contracts from Sony and the others are free to work. Not sure about that part.

I agree on the above. The thing is we all have some style of songs and some singers who we enjoy listening to hence we tend to be more expressive about them.

It used to matter if my favourite was eliminated but now I just watch the contestants whose music I enjoy and if the win fine if not then they have to find some other avenues to make it. Even if he or she makes it other than an opportunity to hear them more I don’t make any profit out of it and he or she will be aware of my existence.
