Varun is a better actor.I think Badlapur and October has proven that. Sid is better looking. But comes across very bland on-screen. The fact that he's still working(and as a lead too) has a lot to do with KJo's benevolence.

And I think that Varun is a mediocre in every way, Nawazuddin & Yami saved that movie and if he continues to have good movies it is because of his father, his father's friends-contacts and Kjo. Htp,Ittefaq,K&S,EV >>>> are much better than the bad copy of EV (Badlapur).

Varun, he was lively and fun

Siddharth was insipid and wooden.

I'll concede you Nawazuddin. But Yami? Not by a long way. By the same token Sid got the help from the entire talented cast of Kapoor& Sons to prop him up. In HTP Parineeti was acting rings around him. When he was cast opposite relatively poor actors like Jacqueline and Katrina Kaif, he couldn't do the heavy lifting by himself. I'll give him credit for EK Villain though. Both him and Shraddha are on the same boat as far as acting is concerned.

Of course his father's influence and contacts helps Varun's career. But on the offside he has to do those bakwaas movies of his father which aren't helping his career at all. And he was dumb enough to sign up for Remo's ABCD after the epic failure of Race 3. So I guess Varun's boons and banes sort of balance each other. We'll have to agree to disagree on Sid. I feel that he's more lively and interesting in his interviews. But somehow he's very bland and boring on screen. He suffers from the curse of most models who turn actors "wooden-face".

KJo helps all his protegees so that he'll have his stable of stars in future. Alia is the investment which paid the richest dividends. Varun doesn't need as much help since he has his dad in his corner. Sid too benefited from KJo's help.

I liked Varun in the movie, he can act needs to improve more.

I found Sid boring and bland, his emotional scenes were weird and was so bad.

Alia was okay, nothing special about her character

Tbh varun is over acting ki dukkan. Both looked good in soty but yeah sid is like extra extra handsome and more restrained as an actor as well but has had some bad luck with few movies. Otherwise my vote goes for sid. I liked him in hasee toh phasee, kapoor and sons, ek villain, bar bar dekho, ittefaq, a gentleman, brothers.. he just needs to get the right ones.

None! The whole movie was horrible and we shouldn't encourage anyone by giving awards to anyone who acted in this pathetic movie!
