Why is Bollywood standing up for Rhea but not for Sushant?

I am curious. Her PR campaign started on twitter to smash the patriarchy.

Like everything in India, Bollywood too is agenda driven. They will stand up for whatever benefits them and remail silent on whatever doesn't. It's best to not expect anything from them.

As far as I know, Bollywood did post condolences messages when Sushant died. What more do you want them to do? Go hate-mongering and witch-hunting without a shred of evidence?

What is happening to Rhea is the amplification of a medieval mindset, where the woman is blamed and vilified despite lack of evidence. Any rational person would object to this.

No one is standing up for Rhea. Way to twist the whole thing. I am yet to see even one person openly asking for her acquittal without putting her through the course of law. All people are against to is the media trial that she is being put through, the vilification of her character even before anything is proved against her. Its like the country has already decided that she is the murderer, even before the investigations are done. The whole medieval mindset that is in the display in dealing with her is appalling to say the least and I am concerned that more people are not putting their foot down against it.

What more could they do for Sushant? They posted condolence messages. He's gone now and his story is finished.

Please don't conflate Sushant and Sushant's family together as one entity. They are NOT. Standing up for Sushant does not mean standing up for his family. For all we know, he may not even approve of what they are up to.

I've said this many times but both Rhea and Sushant's family are lying and spinning things in their favor. The only reason I support Rhea is that it's impossible for her to have killed him. Doing weed or other drugs are not responsible for his death - that is just a sideshow for TV ratings and a way for the government to harass an industry that doesn't support them.
