This is just taking a part of the episode out of context to prove a point. I'm not saying he wasn't sidelined but I don't think that's the case here or if it was, it wasn't meant to be intentional. Like Sara had the phone call jig, he had his own solo segment with an audience race in another part of the episode. TV shows are also scripted so everyone is just following what the channel wanted them to do.

From what I saw on TV, he was ignored and sidelined.

He was the experienced actor with hits behind him and Sara was the newcomer however in the episode , all importance, focus was only on Sara .

There were moments like the snapshot I posted where he was doing his own thing and no one bothered.

I am not referring to second segment. I am referring to the first segment.

SSR is a fab dancer and they could had asked to dance with them as there was one judge.

He did dance in the beginning of the video. Yes they could've had him dance in the second part too but similarly you could say that they could've asked Sara to be included in the audience race. They were just following the channel's script for the episode.

I'm not saying Sushant wasn't sidelined in Kedarnath promotions in general. We all know he was. I've seen the same happen with every star kid launch opposite an outsider so it's not specific to Sushant and it's not some targeted move by Karan. For example, Kriti has talked about how Heropanti became all about Tiger's launch. Producers/media need to take an active step to make the publicity more even.

Had he been an insider.. focus would have been equal on both of them. Like how during Simba, equal footage was there for RS and Sara.

Technically not really...there were multiple TV appearances that Ranveer made without Sara. In fact, I remember the Dance+ episode for Simmba had a very long segment just focusing on Ranveer's marriage. It's just about how the producers and media want to pitch a film.
