Now, as per information from a well placed source, the makers are reportedly planning to end the journey of two important characters, played by Akashdeep Saigal and Sohel Singh. The source informs that Akashdeep’s character Rio and Sohel Singh’s character Parth are likely to be killed off after the upcoming leap.

The development is expected to bring a major shift in the narrative as the show moves into a new phase. While the makers have not made any official announcement regarding the reported character exits, the storyline post leap is expected to introduce fresh conflicts and new equations among the remaining characters.

Meanwhile, our source also states that Akashdeep Saigal, who is currently seen as Rio in Kyunki 2, is also in talks to participate in the upcoming season of Lock Upp Season 2. The actor is reportedly in discussions for the show and is likely to be a part of the reality series, although he is yet to officially sign the contract. “Yes, he has been in talks, but nothing is confirm as of now, let’s see,” our source tells us. Interestingly, Lock Upp is also produced by Balaji Telefilms, which is headed by Ekta Kapoor.
