Years of physical, verbal and emotional abuse would do that to a person. It's not something that can easily be undone. Abdullah was manipulated from a very young age. His mind was shaped by first witnessing his mother get abused, and then himself going through it. There are so many cases where severely abused individuals, even as adults have at times defended their abusers. They can feel that it is wrong but are unable to fully grasp it because that's what they think is "normal."

I guess the respect he is getting at his new job will show him that everything he went through was actually not normal and now with Munshiji gone, this will be enough to help him see clearly. Not sure if he will be able to take action in just a few episodes or if it will be Mansoora/Washma/Shanzay who will spur the action.

The show ended up focusing way too much on nonsense like Shanzay and her marriage and then going after Abdullah. Instead it should have focused on Sarwar and his predatory ways and the characters growth with the passage of time all done in an organic way. Abdullah may not have understood the extent of the abuse he went through but he may have understood Sarwar's intentions with Mahjabeen if shown properly. PKS is a good show but the unnecessary addition of the love triangle ruined it from reaching its potential.

exactly, I mean if they wanted to show Abdullah becoming confident and a solid person, it could have been through him doing his masters in Math secretly (Vashma had filled up his forms too) and Mahjabeen helping him pursue it, hiding it from Sarwar etc. And somehow the encouragement he receives from his professors and classmates in university etc, could have improved his self confidence. This way Mahjabeen could have been the enabler..i just dont feel good about him gaining his confidence from Shanzay's dad's office😳 -_-

Mansoora showed some promise today and abdullah is moving at a snail's pace towards mah 😆 his mom empowers him but she is hardly there for him...I was in splits "aap kabhi confuse hui hai"🤣

Yumna was awesome today 👏 like always . She literally, can win any heart . The character and actor both.

Washma👏 Amazing ..amazing girl ! I guessed it long ago that she had been molested by sarwar that's why she is so negative about him. Rightly so. Her scene with sarwar was so powerful. And mah's mom giving sarwar a befitting reply 👏 all of these scenes stood out for me.

I am waiting for the day when abdullah will say no to shanzey😆

Ok so slow episode again but wasn't a bad one.

That scene where he tells Shanzay 'ok'. I loved her expression lol. Kitna maza ayega jab Abdullah use finally chor dega uff.kab wo din ayega.

Mansoora is so weird. She is like divorce mat do. I was happy till then. Then she said something blasphemous. But don't tell Shanzay. She is so annoying. Matlb kuch bhi. I am shocked at her.

Aur yeh Abdullah use divorce bhi nahi dena chahta na aur use shadi bhi karni hai Shanzay se wah bhai. Kya best of both worlds jeena hai inhe.

Mahjabeen is so so patient and so idk understanding. It was a good slap on Abdullah's face when she said apne to pehle bhi promise kia tha but apne tor dia. She knows what to expect from whom. And that's a fine quality in a person. Wo itni duffer bhi nahi hai.

Also I loved her when she said main padhungi and sabse badla lungi. So innocent she is and pure.

The phone call was also nice with Abdullah. But I wish she didn't have to say.

Also that conversation with her mom was very nice and emotional. I was like forced to say Ameen when she said kash Abdullah mujhe lene ajaye and pyaar karne lage. 🤣

The last part did disappoint me. I didn't want her to be pregnant. But it's taking that route and it's going to nullify the divorce papers since Abdullah has already signed it but has decided against sending it.

Yes. Mansoora is like..abdullah can have both the girls . No need to tell mah that shanzey exists and vice versa 🤪 or did she mean something different ?

I think the best scene was mah on her fathers qabr. 👏 Very well done and mah saying she will study well and teach all those ppl a lesson bec of whom her father is no more 👏ab still doubt her🤢
