My apologies. I was arguing with a friend today who was saying the exact same thing, but about Sushant. And assumed you were coming from the same line of thought.

No problem.

Was never a big SSR fan. Liked a few of his movies. It’s sad what happened. That’s all I can say at this point ⭐️

Honestly just think about it. COVID has really affected these nepo kids. Literally no interviews, no pap pics, no lame photoshoots, and no movies.

Without the audience there is no hype....

The fact that so many movies are going straight to streaming services is also breaking down that barrier- they can't fix the box office numbers nor block other movies from being showcased.

I think its a good step in the right direction.

this is the crux...........as i always compare this profession to medical.......what if nepotism is forced in medical profession like they do in bollywood......only top Doctors sons / daughters will get to practice....other good doctors will be kicked out by spreading wrong information about their characters / knowledge.....then how would the society be ??

of course top doctors want their kids to follow suit.....but they cant force them down the patient's throat like KJO does....neither they can kick good doctors out of the profession...both co-exist.......same is the case in other industry......even though people want their kids to take over, eventually the success depends on the real talent.........

yet in bollywood, these below average actors are shoved down our throats and audience is not given enough good choices to decide.....of course if i am to spend 2-3 thousand for an evening movie outing with my family, i will want to watch a big PH movie which i know (due to promotion) compared to a movie i hardly know about, even though it might have good actors (outsiders) i wont know that due to lack of promotion........

Every actor does that. Some projects look fine on paper but are poorly executed. Or sometimes they do a film strictly for money. If you watch the filmography of any actor who has been in the industry for at least 10 plus years you can see that there are movies where they sleep-walk through performances giving 30-40% of their talent. They'll give a competent performance since they are professionals and have been in the industry for years. -fine enough that you can't call them lazy. But very workmanlike. But they reserve their passion and zest for roles which truly excite them or for film makers who bring out the best in them.

But it didn't have to be at the cost of your demise, SSR...

You have departed for a better place but the void you have left behind is irreplaceable.

Rest in Peace!!!
