As for the labels, how does she even know what kind of father Minnie wants or needs? Ashok was never around to provide any standards for her and it's not like Minnie is a small bacchi who will be pleased with some toys or chocolates. She's nearly an adult who has her own dreams and life aspirations. She'll need someone who can be a friend, and a mentor to her. And this is precisely why HS fits the bill so perfectly.
Yesterday's episode highlighted to me more than ever before how much Minnie needs HS now. Her friends are there but they cannot provide the wisdom that HS can.
remember babita telling HS that lovely always taunted her and mini always stood up for her and fought with her. Mini has always seen babes as this weak innocent woman who needs care and support.
secondly wasnt it mini also who lost a father also but she only thought about babita during that time did not think of what she lost. Its not about just a year its about what you face in that year. Now babita has got a new life a husband in form of HS. Has mini got a new life too. Mini feels left out because she feels she is a third wheel in HS babita relation with HS being so absorbed with babita after marriage and not thinking of her. the CD incident was not spoken to her by babes or HS both. she feels her mother dosent understand her and is asking her to leave the imp support she has of her friends. Yes for her mickey is still a friend whom she needs in her life. Babes being her mother why hasnt she seen how he has supported and understood her all throughout. Ok babes being concerned about the blurring lines of friendship between mini & mickey is fine but how did she deal with it asking mini why she needs to keep friendship with mickey?
giving up ur dream college isnt easy. yes mini can apply for it again and join but then she needs to think over those lines

Mini never actually had a father to begin with.. Babita had those memories, those dreams that she had to get rid of.. Mini on the other hand only new the word father, not what it stood for which is why it was easier for her to forego that relationship.. even then, it was time and again Mini who lost control, who got affected by taunts due to whatever Ashok did once Babita put him behind her..
I am not saying Mini is not a crucial part of Babita's journey.. she definitely is.. she has played a valuable role in what her mother is today but in her victimhood and savior complex, she seems to have forgotten that Babita has the right to feel whatever she wants, even if it's wrong
Babita had no problem with Micky and Mini's friendship till he came over and she saw just how close they were.. and the soulmate analogy did not help either.. why to keep friendship with Micky is precisely because from where she sees, the friendship seems to be going in dangerous territory which would end up in disaster for all three
Parents go through financial troubles.. that's quite common.. having to give up on your dream for that period is not a sacrifice.. It's a requirement
i will always be angry on Pb writers for giving clean chit to lovely and beeji, especially lovely and for making babita apologize. When babita got angry it was the khuranas who instigated her with their 3rd class behaviour and mini easily forgot lovelys cheap behaviour and cheap comments feom the day she came for the wedding anf beeji actingn like a useless mute spectator and gets himmat only to blame babita all the time. @ bold there is a way to talk to mini and explain her to keep boundaries intact was the way to go about it. Not ask her to break friendship with mickey. And mickey preet are dating mini will have to stay away from preet too that way. And i will say this again mini needs mickey in her life as a friend now. what happens later if they develop romantic feelings is another case. im sure mini will not cross her boundaries even if that happens and babita needed to explain that to her. No.. Mini can have a friendship with preet independent of Micky.. you really don't need to be friends with your friend's boyfriend.. you can keep a distance with them.. that eaid, I don't think Mini should let go of Micky as a friend.. however, they need to draw some boundaries.. Mini is conflicted about her feelings about Micky as she stated in her diary.. maintaining a distance at this time is not really a bad idea
