The marriage was sooo unnecessary really! There were 100 different ways B could have destroyed Anurag (for his yet to unfold revenge against Basus) and gotten Pre to care for his child, but they had to go with marriage. It all really came across as trapping Pre in a golden cage made of mangalsutra and sindoor. The whole marriage sequence left such a bad taste, that even though Pre Baj scenes are interesting, I cannot fully enjoy them. It's like somewhere my pity/anger for Pre to have gone through that marriage is overtaking any other positive impacts that Baj might have on her. I loved the small dialogue in Pre's breakdown (finally, after ages), where she says she wants to scream.
To be honest, the writers never really wrote with Pre in their mind. It was always either Anu or Sharma niwas or Basu Bari and now Bajaj. Rarely, do they show Pre's emotions. And it's frustrating to see her character being suffocated and stalled for the need of other's character development. It's true both Anu and Baj are here to stay in Pre's life. So can they focus on connecting the audience with Pre's feelings? I want to be able to support Pre without feeling she is a victim of Stockholm Syndrome.
I really disagree with Stockholm syndrome. I respect your opinion but I have worked with people like Stockholm syndrome and please they are far different symptoms then her.
I understand I cant force you but trust me its s big thing to say for her character please.
