Jaise hilti hai waise mat hila kar

Lage mujhe rahegi Rabb se mila kar

Body teri hotter than Chinchilla fur

Teri maa ne tujhe bada kiya kya khila kar

Ruk jaaye dil when you get down low

Karlo reham thoda meri maan lo

Ni kudi ae tu alright
Aaja ni re I won't bite
Lage tu mainu sexy
Tahi main jaaga all night

Karavengi tu murder
Ho bhavein hove daylight
Jhakas teri body
I fell in love at first sight

Kuwari ae ton soniye
Te main vi ae kuwara
Chad'di jawani hun lutt le nazara

Je na mainu karti ni puchhna dobara
Pher rotiyan pakayi
Naale mere gaane gayi

Na ja na ja na ja na ja

Oh yes Guncha koi as well. I completely forgot about it. That one is also such a good one na? And Kalank title track too! Hopefully I'll add more into that playlist of yours. Sometimes we listen to a song and like it so much that we just have to share that brilliance with someone who could perhaps share the same sentiments that we have with towards the song. I feel the same.

@The line, "Bedard thi zindagi, bedard hai...agar tum saath ho"

I can't help but smile. I get it ALD. Now that I remember the first time I heard this song, this particular part created some kind of dissonance the very moment I heard it. But somehow it went away the more and more I listened to this song and started to like it. I guess it is one of those uncomfortable truths kind of line.

At one end, becoming aware of the fact that your presence or effort sometimes does zilch to reduce the pain of your loved one/ones. And looking from the other side of the spectrum, sometimes in spite of having loved ones around doesn't help reduce the pain, because your pain only you know and understand and any amount of conscious and repeated efforts put in by your loved ones to ease the pain sometimes are just end up being futile. Yikes what a mind fukery.

Such uncomfortable truth bombs, that in the end you can't help but be amazed by it's accuracy. Probably that's why you also love that part too, in spite of it making you uncomfortable.

PS : You didn't like Koi Fariyaad as well na?

Oh I have heard this 'Naah' song of Hardy. It plays on the radio pretty often. But I don't like it. It has this nails on blackboard effect for me. Don't know why.

About Jubin, you know what I don't think that I don't like him, but I think he hasn't managed to make any impact on me. That's why I don't even know or seem to remember which songs he has sung that I like.

Dejaaaaa. How are you 😃 Sorry for the slightly late response.. I remember almost more than two weeks ago I typed a long post, which vanished.. I felt so sad I just left and didn't make any further attempt :p And then slipped off the grid..

Coming back to songs, oh dear, Guncha Koi is one of those songs that frequently gets stuck in my mind, each time, makes me feel relaxed and calm, I love it so much :)

Kalank title, you know, for some reason I don't listen to it often even though I love it.. I showed it to my mom, she loves it a lot. There are those songs that for some unknown reason, you don't play them often, even though you love them, how does that happen?

Deja, mind-fu ckery indeed! So true so true..I always feel that this is one of the sad realities of life and love. You may love the other person a lot, but can never fully see, understand or take away their pains, and they may love you a lot, but they can never fully see, understand or take away your pain.. maybe get/give solace - I guess if one can achieve that with a loved one - silently understanding while not really understanding and being an easy or comfortable influence in each other's life would be the greatest benediction two people can have... but still it scares me so much, the inability to make your loved ones feel 'protected' or hold their hand inside of them..

Now... I'm reminded of this song, the beginning line :p we're changing the track of conversation here wee bit, the general meaning of the song is different, although I think it can change to fit different contexts? 😃..this is a special song Deja..

@ Koi Fariyaad... no yaar :O ..I love it, but for some reason, it wasn't played much in my childhood.. IDK how or why, but somehow I didn't listen to it much when it released.. so maybe that's why it doesn't evoke a strong reaction within me, but I do love it. maybe just not as much passionately? :D

About Jubin.. oh :( ..I haven't listened to him much but as far as I've listened of his playback, my admiration for him didn't sustain as well. Come to think of it, gotta start listening to latest tracks, albums.. have you listened to any new songs this year?

I loved the fact that they started from the middle. Liked this in some of the earlier mashups as well. The original of this never managed to grip me as much as this one did. And I especially loved the male vocals in this one.

@Bold - Yes you are completely right here. I think so it could be because the vocals took precedence over the music over here, and the music somewhat acted like a filler in the bg? You have to give it to both the singers how they could manage to get your attention and hold it as well and then impress you with their vocals. I mean you get what I'm saying? All I could take away from this song were their vocals. It was indeed beautiful.

Suna Suna Lamha Lamha became my latest favorite, thanks to you 😃

Yes yes totally get you :) ..I love the calmness in the song too.. Original one used to 'grip me' until "bekarar pyaar hai aaja" chorus began :D ..for some reason, I associated it with some K serial - maybe I listened to it in a TV serial.. I'm not sure, but that chorus "bekarar pyaar" from original immediately took me to some TV soap.. I still loved the original too

Suna Suna part from original's sweet.. one of the sweetest lines in music, for me :p

One of the recent favorites... I tried watching the film recently, Mirza Ghalib, but gave up after this song, the Urdu was so difficult to follow :(
