SPOILER: understanding love, eye surgery and the return of #themanbun

Today's episode was nice. Though the first few minutes were unbearable - Varsha telling Mishti the signs of love in answer to her question of how do you know it's love? I liked that Mishti raised this because it was very realistic, every girl goes through this - be it love or arranged, there must be a phase where we go 'is this love?'.

What was interesting was the answer Varsha gave - that he takes care of small small things for you, knows how to put a smile to your face, is there for you no matter what - and every instant Mishti came up with - the flowers, the poetry, saving her the first time, then with the fire, the garden view date - everything was Abir. But she wrote kunals name against her love story, because that is what she thinks it is. Interesting. It LL be interesting to watch when she gets to know everything she thought Kunal did, and due to which she could love him, was actually Abir.

#themanbun returns today - IMO Abir should have kept the bun when he rushed nanu to the hospital. :)

Nanu - way to go!!! Atleast one person understands that Kunal and Mishti aren't compatible. Let's see what he does for this. He also got Abir to accept his feelings. We know that Kunal didn't hear it fully - he did hear that Abir is in love. I hope he atleast asks him who the girl is? It LL be wierd if he doesn't bother to find out.

Meenu - she was irritating so far, but today she grossed me out. Keeping an intimate photo of Kunal and his ex in the gift meant for Mishti? What kind of a mother are you woman? Why couldn't she just say no if she was so against this rishta? Would have saved all of us the headache of seeing kushti for a month!

Mishti lashing out at Abir - and the tiff between the brothers - IMO Abir needed to hear this - my life, my choices. He needs to back off. But the way Mishti said it hurt him big time. Poor lad. When he said mera kuch nahi, we could feel his heartbreak. And the retreating steps. Awwww Abir!

Shaheer sheik - I don't think I will ever get tired of praising this man. What an actor, man. When Mishti lashed out at him - his expressions were awesome. And when he said mera kuch nahi , the tears in his eyes, the way his voice broke, and the expression - made me cry for him. I swear his performance lifts up the entire episode and I liked this episode solely for his performance in this particular scene. What an actor!!!

Mridhu that manbun is a distraction for many ladies so thats prolly why they dont keep it for long😂 I am really furious at Mishti and Kunal today but hopefuly she wont go for it. Nanu is really the only person who can see the truth so clearly. Loved him today.

Coming to Shaheer, no appreciation post will be enough for this guy. He never fails to impress me with his performance. Be it a casual scene or an intense scene he gives his 200%. My heart sank when he said mera kuch nahi. He should really take a backstep now and let them sort out their mess themselves.

I loved that part where Nanu makes him confess . The way his voice kept breaking when he was trying to deny it was just the best acting I have seen . I have watched Shaheer in a lot of shows but this character is just making him excel in his craft and create iconic expressions and scenes. And that man bun look really looked cool too!

I was so furious with that particular scene, I was going to make a seperate post. I saw that post by areyaar so I penned my thoughts there. I am going to say this again

Tell me why she can't be the MD wife WITH get glasses? Hell, why can't she be THE MD with her glasses. To hell with this shallow thought.

Meenu's possessive and controlling behaviour towards her own son oversteps the boundaries of a normal and health parent-child relationship. I mean she literally looks like his scorned lover rather than obsessive mother. 🤢 (pukes)

Yet to watch episode but just from yesterday's precap I didn't like the way mishti was talking to abir. She doesn't seem to have the guts to tell her already controlling future husband that she isn't comfortable with his demands, yet is lashing out at the one person who is expressing out loud exactly what she is feeling and is on her side. What a strange specimen of a girl mishti is.

IDG this practice of deciding to marry someone and then trying to completely change them. If Kunal wanted a 'glamorous' wife then shouldn't he have chosen a glamorous girl? 🤔 It's that simple.

Anyway, I felt so bad for Abir. Mishti is always tongue tied around Kunal but she becomes Angry Sherni in front of Abir.

I have seen Shaheer in Mahabharat and now this. I wasn't a fan during his Mahabharat days, but with this character and the gamut of expressions he brings, I am amazed.

Even if we forget the possessives and controlling aspect, the planning and plotting is 🤢

@bold - exactly!! I don't get this too!! Or is it like character is what is important we can anyway change the looks and then ask the girl to undergo changes in her looks. What the hell is this even supposed to mean?!. Everytime I hear this sentence I am like, girl, run in the opposite direction.

Unfortunately this happens in real life too. And the result it the girl doubting her own self worth. :(

@kuhu - I think Kunal will meet his match in kuhu and it's going to be god save Kunal. :)

@abir - I think Shaheer's performance adds to it. We feel what Abir is going through and feel bad for him. :)
