* Mentally gets ready for flying chappals, tamatar and gallis *

Here I said it - I didn't feel the looovve in the Adiya near kiss. It was just lacking. So, the thing is the CVs completely destroyed the show for me after the 360 degree turn in Zoya's character after the 6 month leap. All the Aziz dost friendship goals were so unrealistic and out of character. I know we all wanted Zoya to stand for herself and be kaali maa. We hated Adi manhandling her. But, I dunno I felt more connected to her abla naari act than the post leap Jhansi ki Rani. But, since I totally imagine Harshad Chopda to be my boyfriend, so I was like what the heck - I am gonna watch the show for him. Afterall there is something known as loyalty !

Then, comes Aditya's realization of love and the Arshad track. I so hoped that CVs didn't take the cliche route of making Arshad a negative character and they didn't and I was like drumrolls for the writers please. But, during the whole marriage track, Zoya again regressed to her rona dhona.

Why, can't CVs be consistent ? I know, I know you guys will be like - there has to be growth in character and I completely agree but why the yo-yoing ? First abla naari who can't recognize a red light area to a glass smashing strong woman and then again to a helpless girl who doesn't want to upset her father and can't recognize her feelings. Can we please stabilize her character ? Just decide - innocent or strong ?

I know there is some serious character growth which I can't fathom but it just killed the romantic vibes for me. Maybe with time, it will come back but for now - i just don't find any romantic chemistry. Strong friendship yes, but romance ... no.

I had seen Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil on and off. It was pathetic like all Ekta Kapoor serials are but Harshad had insane chemistry with Additi. Like next level bursting crackling lightning. Even now when I see there scenes, the romance just stands out. But, I don't feel the same with Aditya Zoya. I did feel it in the starting - the coffee spilling scene was fantastic but slowly and slowly the whole character deviation just killed the spark. FOR ME.

I stand with folded hands and beg pardon from all the Adiya fans I might have offended.

Please forgive this innocent soul. 😆

My lessons from making this Anti Adiya post 😆

I'm the exact opposite 😆
I found the chemistry with Aditi rather bland *prepares for chappals coming my way*

But girl no one is gonna hate on you for saying that. We all have our opinions. I found the azeez dost sh*t MAD WEIRD. But as time progressed I realized it was just a coping mechanism for Zoya to deal with her feelings.

JenShad have sizzling hot (mature?) chemistry like I can see them as the desi Christian and Anna but so far besides the one episode yesterday their physical romance hasn't been explored much so I understand where you're coming from.

Respect your opinion.

Let me ask you one thing - did you watch Desh when it was running or you watched it later online? Rather binge watched it?

I so agree with u. Adi and Zoya love story was always supposed to be an intense love story. There was so much intensity even in the scenes where they used to fight in the initial episodes but post leap, the azeez dosti track killed the intensity for me. I do agree though that post leap AdiYa scenes were cute and lovely but the intensity was completely missing. Zoya's azeez dosti jaap in almost every episode killed the essence of the show for me. The only intense scene during that track was the shower scene.
During this track though Zoya was independent but still she was innocent in the sense that she was not able to understand peoples feelings and emotions. Forget others, she was not able to understand her own feelings for Adi whereas Adi has got this special sixth sense and an extraordinary quality of reading peoples eyes and understanding their nature. 😆 Just like in pre leap, he could easily understand the true nature of Rajveer and Mahi inspite of them wearing masks to hide their trueselves, Adi understood Zoya's love for him too inspite of her constant azeez dosti jaap. 😆 I wish we all had that special quality like Adi to identify a good person and a bad person. 😆

Coming to that almost kiss scene, I feel the scene would have looked hot if the camera would have been in the front rather than behind Harshad and Jenny.

Thank you.

I used to watch Kis Desh on and off when it was running. I remember it got shifted to afternoon slot after one and half year and I used to run from my bus stop to watch from the starting. 😆

If you watched Kis Desh, I am sure you must love the 'Sunday ho ya Monday roz khao Anday' scene. It was perfection !😆

Thank you sister ! Atleast I got one kindred soul. 😃

The azeez dosti track just killed the intensity for me. I could never recover. Hope to do so in the upcoming episodes. Fingers crossed.

I kinda agree with you partially.
I thought they had amazing chemistry pre-leap with many intense scenes. (In fact the promos itself got me excited about this pairing of Harshad and Jen).
Post-leap, I was not very happy about the friendzone thing but the chemistry was still there. During the Arshad track, I didn't like the Zo that the writer's painted. Maybe that's why I don't feel that chemistry which I saw earlier. Though I do think with time it'll be back coz they just got together.

Lol...I actually love your post...it was written with so much wittiness that it brought a smile to my face. I am actually rewatching all the episodes and I think where Adi's realization was beautiful, endearing, and touching...Zoya's realization was rather distasteful, painful and well, just difficult to watch...even confession...they gave Adi this beautiful confession when I think it would have been better coming from Zoya at this point. We have all seen Adi's Bepannaah pyaar for Zoya, but Zoya still needs to be vocal about what Adi means to her. Yes yes, I know she left her home for him and blah blah blah...but I just wanted that soulful 10 min confession from her. Hopefully CVs will give us something in the future!! I think the kiss scene could have been done better. It just felt like they were standing there and we'll, kinda standing far apart to be honest. Harshad and Namitas romanctic scene had more chemistry at this point..

i somewhat agree to the post and definitley to the scene in question!😆
Zoya's character growth has indeed been very wobbly and I AM LONGING to hear her beautiful confession😭 like yeah i know she just realized it and Adi had more time to deal with his feelings and express them but there has been close to nada effort on Zo's part. She just listens to whatever he says and smiles.

Like even with the constant "hamara kya rishta hai" I was like GIRL YOU GUYS LOVE EACH OTHER TOH BOYFRIEND GIRLFRIEND/ LOVERS KA RISHTA HAI!!😡 like her confusion regarding their status was confusing in itself!! like yeah abhi koi official name nahi hai but ho jaayega na shaadi ke baad!😲

about the scene in question- COMPLETELY agree! there was no fire. idk what was missing cuz i know these two have the capability to set the screen on fire. Even when Adi was forcefully trying to make her realize her love (office scene in which Arshad beats him up later), there was still that chemistry with them coming closer and closer and her melting into his gaze...but this scene was just a NOPE🤔i SOOO badly wanted to feel SOMETHING lol

At one point Zo even looked scared ( i know they were trying to portray nervousness)😆😆

With all respect to your opinion I disagree...first coming to zoya...many have not understood her character yet...she was a girl who was born in all comfort and happiness...got married to the love of her life and lived happily in her own world...later she realised that all the happiness in her marriage was a lie because her husband cheated on her because she couldn't be enough of a friend to him...she found adithya in between all this...she was naive and broken...but still fought with adithya because she trusted her love...the day she realised the truth of poosh...she tried to commit suicide because that was the way she was destroyed inside...later she came back to life...adithya became her ally and she found a guy who can stand with her in any difficulty...she named that relation friendship...because she felt she got a friend for the first time in her life...when adithya left to Paris she missed him the most and when he came back all she wanted was him to be there with her...she kept saying azeez dost because that is what she thought her feelings where for him...in the course of time life thought her many things...she became independent and became her happy self...but love was one thing that she was never ready for again in her life...because fear of betrayal kept haunting her and adithya's confession woke up this fear again her...she tried to run away from it...she tried to marry arshad so that her father can be happy...she felt marrying arshad will make things fine...but finally she gave up to her heart...and all this was portrayed beautifully and sensibility and most important realistically in the show...and for me her and adithya's emotional conflict just doubled the intensity in the show...
Now the almost kiss...when adithya was touching zoya the chill and current was actually running through my body...when they came close I came actually close to my phone screen...when they closed their eyes for kiss I actually opened my eyes widely...and when the kids came and adithya startled, me also startled resulting in my phone falling from my hand and my mom looking at me like have you gone insane...nothing more to say on the intensity of that scene...

Now coming to jenshad chemistry...i have never found harshad and Jen having this good chemistry with any of their previous co stars and the reason is the way they compliment each other in their every scenes...if you have noticed jenshad brings their own elements and improvise their scenes with tiny details which takes the scene above the script...i find them best with each other because action and reaction between them look real and they live as adiya on screen rather than acting...

Sorry for the long post...got carried away whilewriting...happy day...
