Aditya ki value nahi karti hai, Haina? Aap yahi sochte honge...", Zoya let her tears fall while her eyes constant at the injured Aditya , who was sleeping with his head in a sideways manner, in her lap. "Humne padha.. aapka letter...aapka Izhaar... Shukriya Aditya, hume itna pyaar karne ke liye.. Aapke yeh feelings ki hum izzat karte hai...aapki ehmiyat humari zindagi mein bohot zyada jise hum bayaan nahi kar sakte.. lekin... Aap jaante hain na.. pehchaante hain hume... humse nahi hoga ye... Hum apne aap ko itna kaabil samajhte hi nahi ki kisi ko is apni-hi-duniya-mein rehne wali Zoya se mohobbat ho sakti hai.. Aapko kaise Aditya... aur hum to... *sigh* Aapko hum hurt nahi dekh sakte... lekin mohobbat ke liye humare zindagi mein jagah nahi hai...", she sucked in her lips to control weeping. She was feeling sick, sick of not daring to love Aditya, sick of hurting him, and sick of not finding strength to face him after realising her deepest fears. While caressing his face, something stuck her mind, "Hume maaf kar denge na... Aditya...pl.." ,
"Zoya...", and before she knew, he was up, confused feeling wetness on his neck and shirt.
Instantly, she looked away, wiping her tears and faced him with a smile, "H..haan Aditya... Aaram se..." , he half rested against the pillows as she set them behind him.
Aditya held her wrist, "Kahan jaa rahi ho?"
"Aapke liye kuch khaane ke liye..le..."
"Zoya?", She settled beside him as he pulled her and then , gently trailed his finger along her wiped(dried up) tears to which she closed her eyes.
"Kya chhupa rahi ho?"
Holding his palm, she nodded for milliseconds to cry, again.
"Sorry.. Humse nahi hoga Aditya... Hum bikhar chuke hain... Sukoon.. hum aapki manzil hai... sukoon hain na... jisse aap bepannaah mohobbat karte hai.. lekin.."
She paused; Aditya realized she had read the letter, but he let her speak, it was first time in those 7 months she spoke her feelings, "Lekin?"
Gathering the courage she continued, "Humara dil himmat nahi karta... itna bikhar chuka ki un tukdo mein darr samaa chuka hai, door jaane ka, hurt karne ka, aur pyaar firse na kar paane ka.. Hum jaante hain, agar hum aapke saath rahe to galat hota rahega... kyunki aisa hua hai pehle aur aaj bhi. Hume bachane ke liye aapne apna haath talwar pe lagne diya... wo... eent (brick) humare liye... Mat kariye Aditya itna sab... Allah ne hume ek mauka diya jeene ka, Kisi pe bharosa karne ka aur khud pe bharosa karne ka.. Agar aapko Kuch ho jaayega ,humari wajah se to khud se bharosa uth jaayega humara... aapki takleef nahi dekh sakte hum.",
She looked at his moist eyes and heard the "No" which escaped his mouth , "Aditya, aap nahi maante humari baat to naa maane lekin hum deserve nahi karte pyaar aur hume to yeh bhi nahi pata ki kya hum aapse sirf dosti chaahte hain ya humari taraf se bhi yeh mohobbat hai... "
The vulnerable look to not know her own feeling, was evident on her face. This time Aditya caressed her cheek, "Nahi jaanti, koi baat nahi Zoya... you don't have to force yourself. Kisi bhi feeling ke liye khud ko guilty mat samjho. Pyaar karne ki himmat hai but abhi kahin aaram se so rahi hai, don't worry jab himmat uth jayegi tab use kehna ki Dil ka darr nikaal de! Aur agar tum mujhe hurt nahi karna chahti to sirf ek cheez dhyaan mein rakhna... kabhi ye samajhna ya kehna ki tum deserve nahi karti pyaar, ya tum mere saath rahogi to bura hi hoga! Zoya, humne saath mein itna kuch handle kiya hai , survive kiya hai aur aaj family ke saath hai... isme kya bura hua! Koi kuch bhi kahe, mat maan na.. Kisi ko tumhe hurt karne ki permission mat dena Zoya, bhale hi woh mein hoon. Aur is baare mein sochne ki zarurat nahi hai... Aur koi bhi baat share kar sakti ho Zoya, I'll never judge you. Trust me. Mein tumhe chhodkar kabhi, kahin nahi jaaunga, promise kiya hai tumse.. ya Chaahti ho chala ja...?"
"Nahii! Kabhi nahi!", she bursted.
Aditya smiled.
"Shukriya Aditya.", She felt relieved. His words did the magic, the burden she was carrying after reading the letter vanished from her heart. She picked up the letter from the side table and kept it in her cupboard unlike in the drawer where she had found it an hour ago.
"Vaise mein yahan Siddiqui House mein kaise? Tumhare Abbu..."
"Humara ghar Bharat Nagar se paas hai isliye Arshad aur hum aapko yahin le aaye. Arjun ghar chale gaye aur Anjana aunty ko keh diya ki aap thik hai.. thodi der mein aayenge. Na Abbu ne kaha ki aap yahin rahe.. atleast jab tak aapko better feel na karne lage..", explained Zoya.
"Achha.. mujhe kaafi bhook lag rahi hai..so..."
Zoya frowned, "Hum tab jaa rahe the na lene! Abhi rukiye.. humne khud kuch nahi khaya hai kabse! Jaldi se aate hain hum... ye lijiye aap yeh padhiye- page 12...aapko bhi jaldi ye resume karna hai, Humara ye darr bhi ho hatana hai aapko!"
She handed him a Magazine with a happy face, before running outside.
"Get ready to fly!", The headline read.
Some emotions, some stories need time to have a happily ever after, only when there is mutual understanding, a tale fo r a lifetime can happen for real!
