After two very good episodes,todays one was an average one for me.
Annika has seen the signs of destiny and understood that her fate is entwined with Shivaay's but Shivaay Singh Oberoi is still mired in guilt and in a shell. The guilt is not only because he misunderstood Annika and "wrecked" her life; but also of his very existence.Shivaay is still a small boy of 8 years locked inside the body of an adult male whose life was devastated the day his parents died.His shame for the scandals of his parents death and his misplaced guilt makes him believe that he does not deserve anything good and hence Annika is not for him.Shivaay feels he does not deserve the love of a woman especially that woman whose life he once made hell.

And in this situation,Annika is busy trying to provoke him,tease him and make him say "Fadak padta hain"!

Actually this "little big" man needs a firm telling by Annika that whats done is done;there is no need to cry over split milk;that she does not like,leave aside love,Nikhil and that her happiness lies with him amd if he wants to see her happy,he has to accept the marriage and try to work at it.Say that in easy,simple Hindi or the language SSO understands! He needs some coaxing and cajoling too and not harsh prodding!

Actually in this redux, the character sketch of Annika has been very inconsistent.First she was hardworking,who understood value of money,who believed in the institution of marriage,mangalsutra,

sindoor and the works.She was marrying Nikhil just to gain the respectability of a married woman.Then she was forced to marry SSO and she challenged him to make him understand the importance of marriage and commitments and the paraphernalia associated with marriage.The she flipped and removed her mangalsutra and disowned that same marriage but went on wearing Sindoor.Then she decided to get married again to Nikhil sporting sindoor in the name of Shivaay!! Again,she changed her mind and finally accepted her marriage to Shivaay.

Today,Annika did not bat a lid when flowers worth 25 lakhs were discarded!!!! Then she became all flirty and naughty like the Annika in season 1 and even said "Aap taadibaaz hain toh main bhi khirkitod hoon" which is completely in character of the Annika in season 1 but the antithesis of Annika in season 2/redux.Awasthi has changed situations but characters are behaving otherwise! CVs please stick to the plot😡,very inconsistent writing I tell you😡😡

Looks like someone is back with those lovely posts after so much drama from IF, I have missed you🤗

I do think CVS were confused today or have written script sitting in different rooms! The characters kept flipping so bad.

I loved when Anika walked away n billu was guilty yet again😆

The CVs seem to be perpetually confused these days.😕

I fangirled SSO! and Annika too.😊 She was cute but the thehrav of Redux Annika was missing.

Hey, good to have your posts back. Yes, a very averagish episode & ditto about Annika. You just forgot to add, in the interim she accepted Shivaay as just sirf dost, before flipping again.Annika is the character with most flips in this redux, it's official now 😕 .It looked like season 1's Annika's spirit has entered into the redux one. Suddenly, she is all spunky & challenging SSO, whereas he needs someone to tell him that let bygones be bygones & let's start afresh. We'll get there eventually though, wonder what will tip Shivaay to bring his love to the forefront. One take away from today's episode was when Tej goads SSO about his father, he is totally devastated & reiterated that he is like Tej. But the comment about the khoon ka asar, shook him further. Looks like Annika, has to heal that part of him too. Will today's Tej & SSO scene be further explored remains to seen.

P.s: Shivaay was totally at ease replying to Gauri when she called him Jiju, after appearing shocked earlier in the day, when Gauri was instructed by Annika to call him as such 😉.

Totally agree with anika being confused and split personality, as much as i like original anika I want the redux anika in this storyline...

What is it with anika chasing shivaay with childish pranks! As much as I want to understand shivaay is feeling guilty and doesn't want to further hurt anika I'm still not liking anika doing the chasing!

IF was showing nakhre and not allowing me to post.

Shivaay in his subconscious has accepted Annika as his wife and that is why he was at ease when Gauri called him jiju but on the outside he is adamant that he is not deserving of living happily. He needs either gentle but firm coaxing or a jolt and going by how the episodes are written I think a jolt is about to come via Daksh who promised Tia to remove Annika from Shivaay's life.

By the way,what happened to the worthless,jobless paanwala disguised as a 'lawyer' ? 😆

I agree with you when u said Annika character keeps flipping and is inconsistent.😆

First she said she believes and respects in marriage, then wanted to fight for her marriage, then she left Ms and went with sindhur, when he realised his mistake and asked maafi and asked her to come back she said no I'm not wife but with sindhur, when he said dost she said sirf dost, when he gave divorce to set her free she was sad, when he got Nikhil for rishta and asked her to decide she decided to go ahead with marriage but with sindhur, while doing rituals with Nikhil she talks kismat with SSO, 😆 and then again my sindhur my maang but ritual continue with Nikhil,😆 then she realised yes, SSO is the guy with whom she wants to stay.

Ab itna saara flips ek insaan mein hai tho I was confused till last before episode what actually Annika wants or expects.😆

But now I'm happy that she realised what she wants for God's sake and is back to being kidkithod.

Once again, I agree with you when u say Annika is behaving like RU Annika.😆 by that I don't mean she should not behave but the transformation was too quick that I felt weird.

But I can take today's happy Annika over the confused Annika...

But this fark games should not be done in overdose too. For now it looks okay but I hope cvs don't stretch it too much.

As for SSO, I see his problem runs from deep within.

Today's tej and his convo threw some light on his state. Shivaay looks up to Tej and loves him as a parent but tej shows not even an ounce of affection to him he blames his parents infront of him making him feel guilty and then he also goes on to taunt with "khoon apne rang dikhayidegi"

SSO has feelings for Annika but don't want to reciprocate and is running away from the truth. Till now I was thinking he just wants her khushi and is getting drowned in his guilt for his kaand. But now I see that's not the case. It's his fear that what if he repeats same mistake as tej says "khoon apna rang dikhayidegi"😕 😭 he seriously had issue accepting this marriage or should I say Mar with anyone.

If I remember he was not ready to marry tia too and he even tried to postpone marriage bribing pandit for the same reason maybe. But his dadi got him agree to marriage and then he went ahead to tell tia how he don't love her and she shouldn't marry him. But tia preferred to marry him although he told the harsh truth.

So he was not willing for marriage at all.

And now at this point, he is with Annika for whom he feels and wants her happiness at any cost. So I understand what's stopping him to accept the marriage.

Coming to drooling, can I take all the cakes and ice creams u mentioned.😆😛

Wow...just wow...SSO classy rang bhirangi suits r back with a bang😛

How I missed them alot in this redux.

Happy seeing him in those colorful suits 😛

He refuses to acknowledge his marriage with Annika as he feels he has no right to happiness and also because he is afraid that he may be like Shakti Singh Oberoi and may hurt Annika like his father hurt his mother!😭😭 Dual reason for his 'nahi fadak padta'😭😭

Tej was so utterly inhuman,rude and heartless!😡 His words were like a kick on the face of a puppy and my heart was so heavy seeing Shivaay's crumbling face.😭😭

I want Annika to understand where the guilt and indifference and loner behaviour of Shivaay is coming from and have empathy. This man needs tender loving care from her and only then he can heal.

Tej has not even an ounce of effection for SSO.

Whatever Shivaay's dad did in the past, how is SSO responsible for it??

And he says he was forced to leave India only becz of Shakti in the past even though he has Oberoi empire..😆 he left for London barabar..

But since he left it was Daadi and SSO who r looking after business..am I right??😆

Then why is cribbing abt Shivaay's success soon after coming back once again😕

He is right there taunting Omkara and aksing him to take over SSO abd SSO is not saga Bhai.

Glad Om tried to knock some sense in his head.

This SSO needs love,care and affection to come out of the scars of past.

I was listening to the IB Redux O Jaana female version. I must say CVs have put a lot of effort. Kudos! Which made me hear the IB O Jaana original version. I realised the difference in the feel in the both.

Original, it was about understanding the feelings that the love made each other feel. They were never so insecure about their love, even when separated. They were into each other, even when separated. It was about misplaced scenarios and the survival of their love. Love was everywhere, though not mentioned by both of them, they were entwined.

This Redux version is all about yearning for life partner, who will stay with her forever not exactly love. Its like the girl asking the boy - Please stay with me, Can you?

Still waiting for the male version. With different set of lyrics, representing the male point of view. One part already we heard when Shivaay was standing in the rain. It gave a glimpse of how the girl is making him live his life, feel home, feel secure, rather than spending his life, which he was doing till now. Love will come later.

This flipping of Annika's character is due to public demand. But sometimes, I feel Annika's character is being explored after she met Shivaay. She already showed her loyalty towards him and his family - come what may, you like it or not, you believe it or not, I will do what is right for you. Then she went back to her life, then Shivaay married her forcefully and broke her and her beliefs.. but still she has life, responsibility, she cant be broken for so long. Life is more important than the beliefs. She has crossed the line where she should live a life with her beliefs. She has let go her beliefs. even before Shivaay gave her divorce papers, she has let go of Shivaay without any expectation. But he came back to her, sometimes to seek forgiveness, sometimes to wish her for her birthday, sometimes to celebrate her birthday. He took right over her life, in the name of making everything right as it was before. Thats where she missed it and Shivaay took control of her life and in some way, she let him too. Till the point where she realised Shivaay and her are made for each other. Now she has taken her control back and fighting for what she believes. This flipping, I will not say flipping, but seeming flipping because this avtar was brought back to Annika on public demand. I would have preferred, if they had kept it subtle. Still ok, I will console myself saying, Annika has finally got a secured family, so she is just blooming in happiness and new bonds.
