Out of all the actress roundtables, this was the best one by far! Definitely including Ratna Pathak to the table elevated the discussion to a whole new level. She's very eloquent and yet was also incredibly supportive of the others ladies at the table who had less experience than her.

Swara was the next best for me. While all the ladies were talking about acting situations that they have not necessarily experienced in real life, Swara was the oddball because she clearly went through a much more different journey to get to where she is today. She was nervous and awkward, but I didn't sense any sort of condescension or any airs from her, even though she had a more different journey from the rest. And she was able to handle any critiques that came her way with poise.

Zaira surprised me because she has a sense of self-awareness about herself and her journey into Bollywood so far. I think it was great that Rajeev added the newbie Zaira and the well experienced Ratna at the same table.

Vidya was lovely as ever, and I really loved the rapport she had with Ratna. I always love hearing her stories pertaining to her career.

I found Bhumi held her own very well at the table but I felt that she has limited life experience because of the way she kept referring to her family. Or maybe she wanted to portray herself differently out of fear of being typecast. But still I found her very insightful

it becomes boring after a while 😆

Swara was fabulous. And way stronger than Bhumi. Bhumi does seem slightly threatened in the video.

I also felt halfway through that Bhumi was not comfortable around Swara. I don't think this is from a true dislike of her, but rather because Bhumi was the one who had to sit next to Swara who was awkward-ness central, with her constant fidgeting

There was one thing I did notice. When Swara was talking about how she started feeling like "the shit" once she was treated like a true heroine on sets, it looked like Swara hit a sore spot because Bhumi's language changed and she looked a bit more self-conscious😆

But I do think Bhumi has a real fear of being typecast hence she was repeatedly emphasizing how she's modern girl from a more forward thinking family

^^I watched it last night & yes- Bhoomi was a tad bit annoying with her constant harping on about her family & having met "evolved men" and their presence in her life- I completely agree with Swara-" Which country do you live in Bhoomi."

Bhoomi seemed quite threatened & self-conscious. Swara was my best & I did not find her hyper & looking like she had consumed drugs as so many are saying/wondering about here.. It was a very frank conversation. The sort of conservation you sit & have with a friend in a drawing room over wine when your rn fur gets loose. 😆 But I loved her insights & her little tid-bits from her journey- She's smart. Truly so, she seems to intellectualise things & think about most things from a very rational/intellectual POV , curious & has the ability to think beyond the box.

I agree with what everyone says here & Ratna was the most articulate of the lot too & I loved not only the wisdom but the support she brought to that table- Just the warm, sweet way she subtly kept including Zaira to make sure she didn't feel excluded or the sweet way she kept smiling at her, taken in by Zaira's maturity & level-headedness.. Very nice to see! :)

Vidya too so admires Ratna- You can see it in her gaze.

The best RT by far! So loved it & the conversation just flowed, like it was a group of ladies sitting around, of different Age-groups/experiences & insights. Very well-done, Masand!

Also what did Swara have stuck at the side of her mouth 😆 Looked like she had popped in one of the red grapes on the table & didn't know what to do with while they were shooting. She was sounding a bit odd because of that too. 😆
