And it is the kind of performance that not many have delivered. Ranbir tried something similar and failed miserably with Bombay Velvet. The only thing worse about that movie than Ranbir's performance is whatever Karan Johar was doing. They took the whole movie down with them. Anushka on the other hand is the only ones trying.

It was the movie that made me realize that Ranbir is limited as an actor. He will excel in roles like WUS, Barfi and now Jagga which is an extension of Barfi, but very little otherwise.

Give me a break. Varun has his strengths, he is playing to it and building a resume that way. Nothing wrong with that but acting and taking risks are not two things apparent so far in his resume which both Ranveer and Ranbir have shown.

You want people to respect an actor you like, be fair to others who have achieved something through hard work. Else people will mock your favorite actor, even people who try to be neutral and fair.

Yes, Varun is better in Baldapur than Ranveer in BM. It is a far more complex role and Sriram manages to extract a powerful and extremely nuanced performance from Varun. He went toe to toe with Nawaz and damn near matched him. And yes Ranbir is a limited actor, which means just that, he is a limited actor.

I have been pretty vocal about Varun's choices post Badlapur, they have been crap and all the more uninspired considering what a great, off-feild choice Badlapur was. I haven't seen many people attempt an R rated thriller as their second movie.

Again I haven't argued that he has done terrific movies or that he has given tremendous performances throughout his filmography. I just made a point about how good he is in Badlapur.

Most of your post is a case of comprehension faliure than anything else.
