What the heck did I just watch?
Ok before I get full on disgusted.. lemme get through the tiny bit of positive first.
Shivaay introduced Annika to what it is like to be part of a bigger family. She has been a lone ranger, fighting for her brother single handedly alone, she didn't have to juggle many relationships.
Today Shivaay told her, see the bigger picture.
"You reacted as Sahil's sister. But you did not react as Prinku's Bhabhi, but my sister broke off with her beau because her bhabhi was insulted..🤢 (Dey Shivaay, you need to get your brain checked da )
" Saying sorry for the sake of your family does not make you a lesser person. "
If the reasoning wasn't so stupid, I would have applauded his maturity. But he understood Annika's pov, he acknowledged if his brothers were insulted as such he would have gone mad. And he felt bad for Sahil too, as he is as much his brother now, as hers.
Such a gentle acceptance of Annika in his life ; she is Bhabhi of his siblings, he is Jeeja of her brother. He let her into the complicated , stupid, convoluted, confused brain of Shivaay Singh Oberoi.
And she staggered with the weight. It's too much. It asks too much of her, but she tries.
She feels bad, because as her best friend, she had misunderstood Prinku. She does not know that Oberois do not discuss things with each other, only do token fist pumps for posterity.
So Annika apologizes to Kameeni, ( touch of comedy my foot) before Shivaay does. Falls on her feet no less. I could poke Pinky's eyes out seriously. She rolls her eyes any harder, her eyes would slip out of the sockets.
ACP pushes him mom to accept the apology. Makes me wonder if ACP is doing this solo, not with his crazy mom and Mama. This family is crazy twisted. Certified paagal.
So its ACP who was shooting Shivaay's fake hit and run. He blackmails Prinku with it, I feel bad for her, poor thing. What she is going through is AS BAD AS what Annika did with Daksh. Men are terrorizing them both, and she even has 3 strapping brothers who would die rather than see her hurt. Tragedy.
Then Daksh walks in , hell breaks loose. Shivaay the husband is unleashed, he goes for Daksh's collar instantly and all talks of rishta goes out the window.
Shivaay suddenly deems the family unworthy of his sister, because Daksh is the Mamu of ACP. Swaggering in arrogantly, he demands an apology from Annika too.
Like WHAT THE HELL !?
That was Shivaay's expression, and he was going to throw a punch too but Annika stopped him.
" You're thinking about me too much , as a husband (she falters at the word Husband, made me feels like weeping). Calm down and think as a brother now. "
He turns to see Prinku really upset , thinking it was because she REALLY REALLY wanted to marry ACP.
So Annika bends to touch Daksh's feet in apology. OmRu hate it, Shivaay grits his teeth in anger. Prinku in distress, the rest are wallpaper. Oh yeah, Pinky rolls her eyes some more.
What the hell?!
Daksh is out to torture Shivaay and Annika. Yes, he isn't blackmailing them, small mercies, but Annika is traumatized again.
My God, the entire atmosphere turned negative and stifling. Even Om told Shivaay to stop this rishta, it is turning out to be very costly in terms of self respect.
But Bhaiya and Bhabhi want Prinku to have what she wants. Unfortunately, it's not what they think it is.
Shivaay and Annika are closer than ever. They are a little muddled right now but the trust is intact. "I won't even let his shadow touch her", Shivaay vowed.
What a mess...
