As the tensions between India and Pakistan are on a high, we look upto out our artistes to bring calm and peace in our cross-border relationships. After all, don't they say arts and culture have no borders? But there are some artistes on both sides of the border who feel they get enough attention if they bash their counterparts in the other country. A couple of weeks back, we had seen a video where Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, who is making her Bollywood debut with Irrfan Khan's Hindi Medium, had trolled our actors like Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Riteish Deshmukh in what she deemed as something funny, but for their fans, it was insulting. Then there was another video where Raees actress Mahira Khan who claimed that Pakistan should never follow Bollywood cinema.

Now it's the turn of Pakistani actress and singer Rabi Pirzada to bash Bollywood, especially Salman Khan and his movies. In a press conference to promote her upcoming movie in Lahore, she blames our cinema to ruin their youth and promote crime. The Express Tribune quoted the actress, "Every other film released in Bollywood happens to be about crime or some criminal activities, especially films of Salman Khan. My question is, what are Indian film-makers teaching the youth? It seems like they are just promoting crime. There was a time when Pakistani cinema was at its peak, making films with moral lessons and plots highlighting social ethics. We were educating the society through our films but Bollywood has changed all of that."

Our question to you, madam, is why can you not ask your youth not to watch our movies, and instead watch the moral lesson-teaching films of yours? And Salman Khan is not your punching bag, that you can use to bash him just to promote your movie...
