Movies are a soft power used by every country to put out their POV. No one else has used this power effectively than our beloved Hollywood whose American propaganda movies we Indians watch and cannot stop frothing from the sides of our mouths marveling their technical brilliance and story telling. Two of their favorite topics- ww2 and coldwar....both not impacting them anymore but they cannot stop making movies on them...Just in 2025 I myself watched 2 movies on ww2.
On the contrary, Pakistan is India's number 1 problem...It impacts us at every level of our existence.And you dont want to hear about it, let alone let India take advantage of its soft power? Fair enough....Last I checked, India is still a democracy and no one is tying people to their chairs and force feeding movies that they don't like to watch...There is space for every type of movie...Just feel free to watch whatever you like?
