Prem and Nisha go for their honeymoon to Rajasthan.. But alas it was not a happy one for them coz Prem's libido was as sookha as the desert there. Nisha threatens to leave him. She called up the his family and tells them about Prem's problems. The whole family ends up in Rajasthan support him. They sing and dance around Prem but nothing works, hills and mountains are a distant dream for Prem. Frustrated Nisha runs away with their driver. Prem gets angry and implicates the driver in a hit and run case. Nisha gets angry she goes far far away to a village and becomes a wrestler. Prem becomes psycho and keeps speaking nonsense for the rest of his life.

Prem and Nisha are having fertility problems and everyone is after them to have a baby. Nisha tries to be a mother for her nephew but she wants her own baby and feels guilty. She becomes depressed when everyone from the servants to her fil, parents and family friends, even tuffy compare her to her dead sister and find her wanting. Only Rajesh is sympathetic. The last straw is when she finds out by reading his diary Prem has had a vasectomy so Nisha can be a "real" mother to his nephew because he was afraid Nisha would not be if she had a baby of her own. Nisha is about to leave Prem and writes a goodbye letter. But once again Tuffy to the rescue who takes the letter to Rajesh. Entire family feels guilty, Prem reverses his vasectomy and Nisha and Prem have two beautiful girls.
