Could Deepika, Kangana, even Sonam have done LOOTERA better than Sona?

Sonakshi is nowhere to be seen today. One good performance which she didn't make the most of. I bet Deepika, Kangana, even Sonam would have done the role better. Please share your thoughts. 😲

Right up Kangy's alley. She would have pulled it off effortlessly and even better it. She did say in her IVs that she loved this movie and would have played the character.

Lootera worked for Sonakshi because she looked the part of a zamindar's daughter. Deepi, Sonam kangu dont fit the bill as far as looks go.

IMO, sonakshi acted beautifully in it and she deserves praise for it. But when people come up with statements like Sonakshi's performance in lootera beats deepika's or kangana's entire filmography, I can only laugh and smh in disbelief. If deepika or kangana (i am leaving sonam out of this, for obvious reasons) couldnt have done pakhi, then Sonakshi also couldnt have done a veronica from cocktail or rani from queen.

I feel like that role was made for Sonakshi. She was absolutely perfect for that part. And I will always be a fan of hers because of Lootera.

sonalshi is the soul of that movie ! cant even imagine without her ! 👍🏼

Yes, same opinion. Sonakshi brought something to the character I can't exactly put into words. Maybe a sense of decency , quietness, flirtatiousness without aggressiveness..I dunno but she was great in the role. It was layered, subtle, natural, mature but still with a childish stubbornness. I think she really understood her character and brought that to the screen.

I'm not sure I can say which other actress would capture the essence of what Sonashi captured on screen. They would give their interpretation and it could be good but not the same grasp of character.

The only one I think I would be willing to take a chance on is Kangana.

But for Sonakshi, one thing comes very easily to her which seems to be difficult for all others to be consistent on and that is dialogue delivery, tone and pitch. Even in her bad movie, she gets that part right.
