Sidharth Malhotra finds it challenging to
make friends in the industry.
Hectic film schedules, endorsements and then
dedicating his time to causes that are close to
his heart, actor Sidharth Malhotra has his
plate full. No wonder, he says that he finds it
challenging to make friends in Bollywood.
The 30-year-old says that while he tries to
keep in touch with his friends outside the
industry, it's tough to spend time with other
actors as everyone is busy. "Friends in the
industry are people who you work with. They
keep changing, as we rarely get the time to
catch up once the shoot's over. I have a lot of
friends outside the industry too. Right now, I
am travelling with a college friend from Delhi.
My other friend will come to meet me in some
time. But in the industry, it's only about the
people who you work with," he says.
Sidharth says his contemporaries like Alia
Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor
have been very friendly with him. "We are all
friends with each other, especially the younger
lot. They are pretty easy going and great to be
friends with," he says.
The actor, who recently finished shooting the
first schedule of his upcoming film with actor
Katrina Kaif, is in awe of his leading lady's
working style. "She is extremely dedicated,
even after a day's work, she still wants to
prep. She is very focused. It's all about how
she can make her scenes better," he says,
adding, "We also bonded as we worked out
quite a lot. She is a fitness freak and I was
surprised by her dedication. Whenever we
would get free, both of us would fix up a time
and go for training. She had her personal
trainer and I would train myself."
Meanwhile, the actor, who is currently
exploring New Zealand, says that he is
enjoying his time in the country. "For the past
three days, I have been trying to explore and
make the best of my time. The first day was
special as the first thing I did was go for a
skywalk at the Sky Tower in Auckland. While
walking around the tower, the view was
spectacular. I also indulged in a bit of
adventure sports. I did quite a lot of travelling
and I also got a chance to meet the Prime
Minister of New Zealand. He is a very warm
and humble man," says the actor.http://m.hindustantimes.com/bollywood/it-s-tough-to-maintain-friendships-in-bollywood-sidharth-malhotra/story-A7X9ILHAk5Bh75ApTbTj1I.html
