DOTW: Do you feel sad for Malika - Page 2

Nice question...and actually at this point I feel bad for Mallika for sure and sympathy too. Now that is quite against what most of the members have said above. But surely..there is a strong reason for my saying this. 😳

Firstly we cannot blame Mallika for what she is. She has been brought up in a high society, where style is given most important...where even a little bit of ordinary look will be scorned at. Mallika keeps herself in style and she is taught to be with stylish people and move around in high society and so she started treating ordinary people in a demeaning way. She felt that Jassi was one among the middle-class ordinary people and she started behaving with her with the same scorn. Even Armaan's mom..Ila share the same mental level like Mallika and she too finds Mallika the best daughter-in-law for her and so did Armaan's dad who really wanted Armaan to marry Mallika. 😛

Mallika always found Armaan Suri to be charming, of high class like her and a matching life-partner for her. She cannot be blamed for thinking so...because on some points..Armaan was pretty like Mallika...except that he had some elements of humanity and kindness in him, unlike Mallika who was full of scorn and dislike for middle class people.

Mallika never trusted Armaan for the simple reason that Armaan was always hiding many things from her. Mallika knew that Armaan had many ex-girlfriends and he is one of the most eligible bachelors and she feared of losing him at every point...but she never feared Jassi..as Jassi was ugly and Armaan was always after beautiful women. So Mallika felt that Armaan won't fall in love with Jassi...but she disliked Jassi for two reasons..one for her ordinary looks and other for always being supportive of Armaan and hiding his secrets from her. 😆

We can't blame Mallika...because as Armaan's fiancee, she had the right to know about him and his activities and Armaan by hiding his diary from her...created doubts that he is double-crossing her. We can't say that she is behaving differently from other women..because Jassi is similar to Mallika regarding feeling hurt, when coming to know of being cheated and perhaps any other women may also feel hurt when fooled like Mallika was fooled in her life. 😛

Jassi was so hurt..when she felt that Armaan was playing the drama of love with her and she got revengeful with him. So just think of what Mallika maybe feeling...because she got cheated again and again. But each time, she tried to patch up with Armaan perhaps because she loved him that much or perhaps because she was so much possessive about him or couldn't afford to miss out such a husband and stylish husband.😳

Whatever be the reason...but Mallika being a woman..always wanted emotional security from Armaan. She never felt that Armaan loved her..but rather that Armaan was doing the marriage for his own personal means and achievements and at the same time..behind her back going around with other models, ex-girlfriends etc. Mallika disliked Jassi for being supportive of Armaan as a secretary in all his secret activities and she knew that many times Jassi fooled her like in the case of Kareena Modi. 😆

Now at this point, Armaan has said that he will decide on whether to marry Mallika or not and will inform her of his decision. Even at this point or from the point of Singapore trip when Armaan had mentioned that he never loved Mallika...Armaan never tried to evade a patchup with Mallika or try to be open with Mallika and tell her that he was not interested in a marriage with her. 😕

Armaan was always indecisive regarding Mallika..at one point, he would say that he would marry Mallika and try to convince her that he was willing to do so and at other points...he remains distant from her and hides his feelings from her, trying to be all charming and romantic or totally upset and frustrated. Mallika never could understand whether Armaan truly loved her or not and that was the one huge doubt she was having all through her so-called marriage aaj honge...kal honge story. 😆

We can't blame Mallika at this point because she was always fooled by Raj-Armaan-Jassi together or individually. 😆 Mallika will surely feel bad and I feel that we cannot blame her. If Jassi can be so revengeful towards Armaan for being cheated once..then Mallika is justified for being upset with Armaan and Jassi. 😳

So surely although I feel bad for Armaan because at this point..he is truly in love with Jassi, but is being misunderstood by Jassi and equally feel bad for Jassi..because she feels that Armaan is using her.


I also feels bad for Mallika along with Armaan and Jassi because she is kept in the dark and fooled by both Armaan and Mallika all through. Armaan making her feel that..he may marry her and Raj forcing Armaan to never think of breaking his relation with Mallika and Jassi, making Mallika feel that Armaan will love her or is already in love with her and will surely get Armaan in life..when Jassi and Armaan both knew that Armaan was not in love with Mallika and may not marry her.😛

Priya well said... Mallika has many issues but it was more to do with the life style she has been brought up in. But sometimes she had a heart which was hurt. Even for instance when Veeru and the reception girl were having an affaoir and the gang were trying to hide from Mallika since there was some launch and they wer'nt working she supported them.. But here shedisliked Jassi from the begning espica;;y she coming from a middle c;lass society and also being badsoort😕

I realy don't feel sad for Malika. I think her ego got in the way of her relationship with AS. When you take your brother's side even when you know that he is wrong you are asking for trouble. Malika should have tried to support AS and maybe then they would be together. Anyways I am not sad for Malika I think she is geting what she deserves.

Priya Maners have to be learned. So what if someone is born in high society. This is like the saying if I jump of the clif you have to do it too. I think that if Malika had been nice to Jassi regardless of her looks than she may not have lost AS. Malika could have taken Jassi into confidence as a Friend. Maybe then she would not have lost AS and probaly gained a good friend in the prosess. So I realy don't feel sad for Malika. Again this is my opinion. Plz let me know your views.

I don't feel sorry for Mallika as...
I think Mallika did love Armaan but only on her terms and conditions... Armaan on the other hand deep down, within is not as devious as Mallika who could twist and turn everyone according to her wishes.. Yes Armaan did use jassi but out of sheer necessity and that too on his friends' encouragement... As the saying goes 'Jaisi karni Waisi Bharni'.. though any woman does not deserve to be treated like Armaan treated Mallika but so does any woman does not deserve to be treated like Mallika treated Jassi ....what say???

Shanti I have very mixed feelings about Mallika. one place I feel she deserves what she got. As she is devious, childhood love or not. I only see it like this. Armaan asked her "Would you have done what Jassi did for him, had he asked her to do the same?" And she replied "NO" she loves him selfishly. Jassi loves him selflessly.

But yes as a woman I do pity and feel sad for her. But that's womanly sympathy right?
