Karna and Draupadi I think are few of the most unlucky and misunderstood ppl... Both had inhuman beauty..but very tragic lives.. They kept making mistakes again and again..and fate too was cruel to them..

I have always felt there was certainly some attraction between karna and Draupadi..I wonder how Mahabharat would have changed if they came together..!

Like me there are many who think Draupadi and Karna were great together.. And maybe they were ..since this happened 25000 years ago..who knows..! In 100 years itself our society has changed so much and we talking 25000 years ago..a much much more advanced civilization...who knows how the norms of the society were..

Mahabharata itself has been modified accosrding to every age it has passed through..

I hope this post does not get closed.. This is purely my thoughts.

No one has actually read the original Epic, there are many versions people claim is close to Epic bt no one knws wht actually happened 5,000 yrs.. so this Karn-Draupadi angle is true or nt no one knws, bt lets nt bring this topic here, or else all Draupadi fans will cm here 😛 with their citation to prove abt Draupadi nvr-ending love for Arjun and hw she was always in love with him and hd no tym for anything else, so to keep the forum in peaceful, lets nt discuss abt them.. if you like them, there are many books mentioning abt this angle, you can go and read it..
i been a Karn admirer dnt want this angle, its a huge insult to Karn 🤢 after all he rejected Draupadi wen Lord Krishna offered him,
though no one knws the actual reason for offer!!

1st of all Mahabharata can be hardly 5000 years old. 25, 000 years ago it was Ice Age in the earth and Mammoths were still walking around on this planet.

Karna & Draupadi seems pretty much-forbidden subject on IF 😆 .. hats off to your guts that you brought it up here .. but get ready for the consequences .. fans may open a class here to teach you how cruel, insane and improper your idea is🤪 .. be ready.

For me, as much as I DON'T ship these two I believe if it was an English Drama, KD whould have been the most popular ship there😆. Anyway, you are right NO version of Mahabharata is the "ORIGINAL" Mahabharata .. the original text is already lost, moreover, history is never 100% fact but 20% POV is mixed .. so everything is possible.

Being a Karna and Draupadi admirer

I ve always disliked the angle

But to each their own

The Karna Draupadi angle has come mainly from the western concepts

and showing a forbidden love story and a great war fought because of it

which simplifies the epic

It was easily accepted earlier that Draupadi had five husbands but now people have a hard time accepting that

Mahabharat was just not about war or love it has every relationship and emotion possible

thats what makes it great

Since both Karna and Draupadi suffered a lot they are coupled together

It probablyl make a very good fanfiction though😆 I mean many books already have that angle now

I won't comment on anything else but colored lines,

1. Not everything that we don't like is coming from "Western Concepts"

2. It was never easily accepted .. it was only accepted before people started questioning the religious schools that's mediaeval era .. Kunti and Yudhisthir has been criticised for this by scholars from long ago .. the important thing is it is not criticized because Draupadi married 5 men but because she had to marry 5 men against her will .. she had to go to Yudhisthir when she was in love with Arjun

Do you know why some people keep shouting for several bans .. like ban PK, ban Viswaroopam, ban Salman Rushdie, ban beef .. India has a banning culture and it's "India" Forums only .. I don't ship KD and I have my reasons for that, but I don't understand why discussing is considered as blasphemy here .. on Start MB forum some MOD imposed the rule .. hope the nazi rule is over .. anyway pray ban loving people don't crash your thread

Coz people aren't open minded, they hv a particular opinion and they expect the whole world too stick to it. dare if u dnt accept it, citations frm different version will started pouring to prove you wrng 😵
