Well coming to the post , I must thank Abhay for this piece of information ... Sorry Abhay , was unable to comment on the blog ... Interestingly, even I had heard about from the people , when I visited Rajasthan this year ...

Actually I have not been active in this forum for the same reason ... There is pathetically nothing left in the show to discuss about ! I feel no need of writing any posts regarding CVs showing all sort of NR in the show ... terribly degrading the level of the show ... Actually I find no words to appreciate CVs and their NR ... I am in short of words ... Kya se kya haalat bana di gayee hai iss show ki ... Taras aata hai ...

I am here to tell something regarding my views about CVs decision to show Madho as an antagonist which sounds simply ABSURD and FOOLISH too me.

"Foolishness is more than being stupid, that deadly combination of arrogance and ignorance."

Jodha Akbar had been the show , for which I have been enthused from day one, but unfortunately CVs have left a sour taste ...😡🤢

"Talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish." 👏

I don't know what to say about this stance of CVs to show a person who has close to the Emperor as a villain . It just shows their improper approach and lack of common sense. I think maybe they have kept several tracks in their favour ... like Madho suddenly turning all good or Jalal punishing Madho, Jo saving Salim from Madho , increases respect in Salim's mind for Jodha and again Ruq humiliating Jodha regarding Madho , HB turning negative as Jo's relative tries to hurt Salim and Jalal , Madho repenting, Maan Singh fuming ... wait a second, where it 's going ? My head is feeling dizzy

The intelligent people are the ones so intelligent that they don't even need or want to look 'intelligent' anymore."

We can't speculate on these anymore , I just think that CVs feel that they are INTELLIGENT..

Thanks for bearing all my anguish guys ! I am really sorry, if one feels that my post was just a venting ! 😕

P.S :Anyway , I must thank this man, Abhay ... 👏👏👏He had been one such person who has been able to inculcate the interest in all of us regarding the History , its' facets ... His works and his blog have been amazing , providing us all the facts ... ⭐️

Hi Lasya, 😊

Good to hear from you after ages.

Our thoughts about the NR, plot, dialogues and historical credibility, are alike. It is sad that having started off with the names of two historical greats, Jodha and Akbar, the once awesome storyline and presentation, is below mediocre now. The story now resembles one from a regular daily soap, borrowing Jodha and Akbar's names.

I also feel that besides not addressing bountiful core aspects of the two royals, their achievements and those of the members of the Imperial administration, the talents of the gifted leads along with those of a host of other character artists, is being thoroughly under utilized.

If in case the rumors about the curtains falling on the show are really true, I wish at least the last few weeks, of the run, does justice to the innate personalities of Jodha and Akbar and presents them with strength, fearlessness, intelligence, respect and dignity, qualities that they really represented.

Thank you Abhay for this informative post. I did not really know who Madho singh was and promptly assumed that the CVs had yet again created a fictitious enemy from their ever swollen hat of villains😉
Charu, Radhika and Lasya you guys have summed up all that I have to say about this misrepresentation of History. I am not surprised at all that they have butchered his character. He really is insignificant compared to the slaughter of the characters of the main leads. Oh well I plan to enjoy the last month of this show out of nostalgia. Let them show what they want I hardly care anymore. If the focus shifts back to ruks and her nataks then I will just simply stop watching...thank God this show does not affect me like it did before.

Firstly , I am really glad to see you Charu Akka 🤗 Hope you have been fine 😳

What fuels my anguish is that how mercilessly we have been deprived of those good olden days ! Arre yeh CVs toh ehsaan faramosh nikle 😡... Itne TRPs ka unhone sirf yeh din dikhlaaya 🤢

I have only one thing to say ---

THEY HAVE DUG THEIR OWN GRAVE ... 👏

Thank you Preeti,
The moment i heard that Madho Singh has been made the next scape goat, within an hour this post was made . We know Akbar and Jodha were victims of shabby scripting.

But, i thought that when the show was ending then what was the need to malign a person whose sons and grandsons died fighting for Akbar etc. CVs did not spare even those people at least in the last leg of show.!

And as lot of members thought it will be Jodha bringing Madho back to Akbar and "reform" Madho Singh, i think nothing of that sort happened.. Asking this question, as i missed episodes. Anyways, i hope the remaining days are spent well and they say a fitting bye to the show. :)

BTW, I will wait for a show these people again.! And, this is my only worry that, i may not see them soon on Television. CVs could have shown Jodha in a better manner, other than helpless crying damsel in distress, and show what she was really. And, Akbar comes across as an extremely fascinating man with a variety of colors and tastes - " good-bad-black-white-grey " , and CVs could have shown him this way also. Anyways, The more i read, i more i WANT to read and know about them and those times.!

Like you, thankfully, i also managed NOT to get affected with what they show in the serial, to a lot of extent. :)

Abhay, I agree with every thing you have said. Akbar was such a fascinating historical figure with so many shades to his character which they have all but ignored. But he still has countless history books written about him and he is deeply entrenched in our nations history. But this show has done much more damage to MUZ reputation as much less is written about her. I feel very let down by Ekta's version of Jodha

Preeti,

Yup. CV's have not left anyone in their drama creation. Whoever they got a chance, they maligned the person be it Akbar, Jodha or their families. For them, it is just a drama.

Actually, i had various thoughts earlier about how and why they do this. But, after some interaction, i understood that they weave an entire track, from a slight event in history and in that too, they add lot of spice. They really don't care what we say or think. I used to blast the writer earlier, later stopped, as the tweets fell on deaf ears. There was no effect. I do not have words to express the disappointment with the JA writers.

I remember spending around a month reading and then writing about the Shah i Iran incident {VERY LONG blog post2 Shah i Iran-1 Shah i Iran 2 }, and thought CVs will show it with regard, and what a damp squib it happened to be. It was a disappointment for me. But anyways, the post is present on the blog and at least people will know that it was a watershed moment in Akbar's reign. The CVs do not know where to focus and where not to.

Leaving Akbar aside.

They did not spare anyone. Bharmal was made a traitor for Akbar and shown in Jail. Jodha's sister was made to run away with a commoner. Can there be something more disgusting? The biggest issue is that she is shown as so gullible who can be made a fool by anyone. She is not aware with what is happening around her. Her equation with her son was shown too bad, and so much os negativity introduced in the show that it repelled many.

I know why you let down by Jodha's portrayal, and your concern for her. But, let me assure you that, whatever the CVs have shown, one thing is clear that the legacy will live on. The show may remain or not , that is not going to affect at least the common man. Remember Iqra ? She was in awe of her as Akbar and his Hindu Begum is famous in their area since long.! Jodha is not her name, whatever be the name, but the fact is that, she is known by commoners in Golden Triangle since long with Akbar ; and will be known so.

Yes, i agree that the show could have shown her someone other than ONLY a wife of Akbar, because she was a successful woman on other fronts also. Though, they are showing this now with their own drama, but here also we have English people, not the Portuguese and Middle East countries. :-P
