It seems Madho Singh was also as brave and loyal as Man Singh. But is being shown as a villain here. What his motive is, is hard to say. May be he hates Mughals and doesn't want his sister to be getting married to a Mughal. Or he wants to kill Akbar and Salim and take over the Mughal empire. the second option seems too ambitious by the standards of the PH , so i will go with the first option. 😆
I see that many people here are tearing their hair off in frustration to see an Akbar loyalist being shown as a villain.
I really don't see this as any kind of an aberration though on the part of the CVs. When the CVs can degrade the leads - Jodha and Akbar - and make them do the most undignified things, then what chance does Madho Singh stand??
In fact, it is a wonder that the PH knows there was someone called Madho Singh too! 👏 Just for this, i give them an A grade!!
It shows, Abhay, that they do have access to historical information but choose to show only what they want to in their twisted fashion. 🤢
I feel there has to be something why this character has been introduced now and is targetting Salim. It might be possible that Anarkali will ultimately save Salim and the Mughal khandaan and die in the process.
This way, Anarkali is done away with without our soft as a teddy bear Akbar having to get her plastered in a wall or do anything worse! He can continue in his mellow avatar, romancing Jodha like a newly-wed husband on his honeymoon, even as his kids are getting married.
I doubt the CVs will show any long role for Madho Singh. It is just a one track cameo, I guess. When the navaratnas have nothing to do, then no one else stands any chance either to do anything, except stand around smiling beatifically into space.
Talking about inconsistencies, Akbar was dead against Salim facing Anar and was ready to send her away from Agra. But now she has become the personal bridesmaid to Man Bai in all ceremonies 😆 Sorry for going off-track, Abhay!
