Salman Khan debuts unexpected look as he joins Aamir Khan for Lagaan milestone event

Salman Khan turned heads at the celebrations marking 25 years of Aamir Khan Productions on Saturday, with his latest appearance becoming one of the most discussed moments from the event. The actor arrived sporting a shaved head, paired with a black vest, ripped jeans and a matching leather jacket.

Videos and photographs from the gathering quickly circulated online, with many fans taking note of Salman’s updated look. His appearance stood out among the star studded guest list assembled to celebrate a major milestone for Aamir Khan’s production banner.

The evening also commemorated 25 years of Lagaan, the acclaimed film that remains one of the most significant projects associated with Aamir Khan. Salman was among the prominent names present for the occasion and was seen posing for photographers upon arrival.

Released in 2001, Lagaan was directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and went on to earn both commercial success and critical acclaim. The film also received an Academy Award nomination in the Best Foreign Language Film category, bringing global attention to Indian cinema.

Set in 1893 during British rule, the story revolved around villagers who challenged colonial officers to a cricket match in an attempt to escape heavy taxation. The film featured performances by Gracy Singh, Rachel Shelley, Paul Blackthorne, Suhasini Mulay, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Raghubir Yadav, Yashpal Sharma and Amin Hajee, among others.

Its music, composed by A R Rahman, remains popular even today. Tracks such as Ghanan Ghanan, Mitwa, Radha Kaise Na Jale and O Rey Chhori continue to be associated with the film’s enduring legacy.

Salman’s appearance at the event came shortly after he attended the funeral of family friend Kumod Raney, where he was seen alongside several members of the Khan family.

On the work front, Salman is set to appear in Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace. He is also busy shooting for filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally’s upcoming project, tentatively titled SVC63, which also stars Nayanthara.
