That was His Majesties 40th birthday celebration evening just being attended by the male family members and courtiers . All of these rakasas hardly ever got a chance to dance as since shahenshah has married to jodha begum , he mostly stays away from them . Before marrying to Jodha he used to hand-pick them as personal dancers and they used to perform seductive dance for Him. And mostly wud end up having S**with him. That wud result in increment of their status in Harem with special previliges of enjoying Mughal Saltanat. But these yrs it has becum a nightmare for raksaas to be with him. But then who knows, when they could have that special call. The courtiers were drinking and enjoying the dances. Rakasas were using all type of tricks to impress courtiers especially shahenshah , so to be awarded with gold coins and jewels and precious stones
