* Airing the truth a crime? How? #IndiasDaughter is a wake up call to global action. It doesnt shame the nation. Rape shames the nation!!

* How can we change mindsets if we don't know what we are up against?Facts are a reality we need to face head on and tackle. #IndiasDaughter

* For all who have blindly subscribed to #Nirbhayainsulted..have you watched the documentary?I guess not because ITS BANNED! #IndiasDaughter

* Its a shame that in 2015 we are still fighting to end gender based violence. Lift the ban India! Let people watch #IndiasDaughter

Wat...why is it banned ?.is it csz we are not singing Mera bharat mahan in it?

I agree freedom of speech is in trouble if they are going to start putting ban on journalists and documentries. This is such a shame, why don't they start doing something about the rapes instead of banning the truth.

How would you feel if someone interviews the killer of your dear one and in the interview, instead of repenting the killer says, "The B***h deserved that"?

Did the authorities give a reason why it was banned?

I don't think it should be banned, but this is a little too idealistic:

#IndiasDaughter is a wake up call to global action.

* How can we change mindsets if we don't know what we are up against?

Not going to happen overnight.

She sent a tweet to Narendra Modi. Hopefully they will remove the ban.

Dear @PMOIndia @narendramodi May I please request you to watch #IndiasDaughter. The daughters of India need your support @IndiasDaughter

They're right to ban it. No need to give these murderers and rapists unnecessary publicity. There will always people with filthy thoughts. Like those who believe in Nazi ideology, spread hatred using religion etc. Doesn't mean you should give them a platform to spread their propaganda in the name of freedom of speech. Just treat them like the scums they are and hang them. Also lawyer should be charged for trying to incite violence against women.

I hope they do...although I don't agree with the phrase...India's rape culture...but this documentary is necessary to start a sane discussion atleast about women safety...the dialogue is very important and to engage the public in it is even more important...sirf ek candle light vigil se kuchh nahi hoga...this has to be a continuous effort and nothing will happen if the general public is not involved...

Many including Nirbahaya's close ones were hurt reading about what he said. The lawyer had spewed shame shit when they got arrested as well so this is nothing new or thought provoking. They don't want to hear insensitive comments about her again and again.
