The Bachchan's equation has always been very very good with Rishi and his immediate family. Even in the aftermath of Karisma/Abhishek break up. And Krishna is also Shweta's husband's grandmother so in a way she is family to the Bachchans as well. All the Kapoors are.

Weren't Raj Kapoor and his wife distant cousins? They probably did share some DNA and some similar features.

I don't know Kareena05, Abhishek always looked so serious with Karisma. But I don't think it was Karsima per say but rather he himself. Maybe he was shy or self conscious. But I don't remember seeing these big cheesy and from the heart smiles that he has now.

Based on all the rumors of Babita's hand in the break up of that engagement sometimes I wonder how she feels now? Abhishek may not be a top Bollywood star but financially he's very secure, and he adores Aishwarya and she just seems so over the moon happy being his wife and the Bachchan bahu.

Babita was concerned about Abhishek being a 'nobody', apparently. But after the engagement ended, Abhishek became fairly successful and was counted among the top Bollywood actors for a few years (around the time Dus, Bunty aur Babli, etc came out). Even today, as you mentioned, he is financially secure and adores his wife. I'm sure Karisma would have had a much happier life had she married Abhishek.
