She was going through the motions herself. The kids wanted to go the park, so she took them. Watched as they played and when ever she sees a child with a father, he would come to her mind. All she thought was about him. Most of the time She didn't even realise it herself. But he was constantly on her mind.

She put up a brave face for her daughters'. But they were quick to recognise their mother was sad. Once back home, Rashmi kissed her on the cheek and seated herself on Asthas lap. She hugged her mother with all her might and asked with concern "Mama, why are you sad? Is it because of us? Please don't be sad!" Astha just tightened her embrace and tears just started to flow unchecked. She, was trying to say something to her little saviour...but words refused to be spoken.

All the pain and heartbreak that was kept capped just erupted like a volcano. Spilling out in the form of her tears.

Astha held onto her precious saviour as if her life depended on her. Then it dawned on her, her behaviour is effecting her babies. She had to be her usual self. She made a mental note not to let her girls see her like this. She realised how much it effects their sensitive minds. She wiped her tears and told little Rashm she's not sad anymore, and they didn't do anything to make her sad but they are the sole reason for her happiness. She said she was sad about a patient. She was telling the truth.

Rashmi was satisfied with her mother explanation. She made her mother promise that she'll never be sad. She said she'll try. She kissed her mother one more time and ran towards the TV room, her favourite cartoon Mickey Mouse clubhouse.

Shlok tried to call Astha, but she just didn't answer the phone. He just needed to hear her voice at least. He was running out of patients, he did something he really didn't want to do!

When the nurse came with his medication, he asked her about Astha. He asked her if she's married. And she said "no". He asked about the kids.

She said "all I know is that she's never been married and she's not seeing anybody now. Many fellow doctors have been interested in her, but she's not even gone out for a cup of coffee with them. But she's an amazing person. Always ready and willing to help anybody who's in need. Everybody loves her. She doesn't treat us like how other doctors does. She's a real sweet person."

He asked "Do you know how many kids she has and their age?"

"She's got four year old twin girls" replied the nurse.

Shlok thanked the nurse.

"You're not the first patient to fall for Dr.Astha, nobody's been successful to date. I wish you all the best!" Said the nurse and left.

She's not married! He was on top of the world. He still had a chance. He knew the reason for her absence today. It was because she didn't want face him. If she didn't have any feelings for him then she would've just sent him a message or called him told him such. The fact that she's avoiding proves she too feels something for him. The realisation made His heart sing many a love song, painted hundred perfect sunsets.

Shlok, had been a very optimistic person. The more he thought about Astha, the more he was convinced of her feeling something toward him as well. This gave him immense happiness. He vowed to himself he would give it all to win her love. To win his Astha

Did he just say Love. He didn't realise it. He was in love Astha. For the first time in his life, Shlok Agnihitri is in love. He has fallen head over heels in love. It was the most profound feeling. He was flying without wings. Dreaming with his eyes wide open.

He wanted to spend every waking moment with her. There was so much he wanted to tell, so many things he wanted do with her. He wanted to experience life with her. He wanted to grow old with her. He wanted to have a family with her, kids.

Then he remembered her kids, is he ready for them. What about his family. His parents? What Will they say? Am I ready to be the father to someone else's kids. Will they love him? What about the biological father?

His mind was creating an emotional whirlpool. He was willing to sacrifice any thing, he was ready to try anything for her. To be the sole recipient of her love.

I died a million deaths thinking of your rejection
