Uorfi Javed reacts after Karan Johar ‘ignored’ her claims surface online

Uorfi Javed has shared a post about filmmaker Karan Johar, reacting to a claim that he judged and ignored her because she is a self made personality. A picture of Johar standing with Uorfi accompanied the message.

Uorfi shared the post on her Instagram Stories. The text on the image read, “Karan Johar badly judged and ignored Urfi because she is a self-made star. But… 💔” It also included a screenshot of Uorfi’s response.

In the screenshot, she wrote, “Log kuch bhi bana dete hai yar, he didn’t ignore me at all. Hi hello ache Se karte hai jab bhi milte hai and woh white me Jo hai woh nepo kid nahi hai 😅😂”

Through the post, Uorfi appeared to clarify that she does not believe Karan Johar has ignored her during their meetings. She said the filmmaker greets her normally whenever they meet, pushing back against the suggestion that he deliberately avoided her because she is a self made star.

Her reference to the person in white as a “nepo kid” also became part of the discussion around the post. Uorfi did not elaborate on whom she meant. The screenshot appears to be the basis of her clarification.

Instead, she directly dismissed the claim that he ignored her, saying their interactions have remained cordial whenever they meet. Her post also appeared to question how quickly assumptions are made about celebrity interactions.
