Dukhtee ho koi baat, mujhpe aane de.

Translation: If there is anything that is paining you or taking away your happiness and peace of mind, direct all that gloom and sadness in my direction.I shall take it for you and you will be safe.

One of the biggest promises that love gives is that of PROTECTION. Infact, specially in Indian wedding rituals, this promise of protection is beautifully given by the groom and the bride with devotion to each-other. The groom promises to protect his wife's life and honour. The wife promises to protect his home, his honour and take care of him.

That is what today's episode is about in essence. The promise to protect your life partner by taking the bullet yourself first. There were these trying times when Rudra protected Paro and her honour with his life. He always put himself in the line of fire to shield her, to keep her safe and alive. He didn't care about staking his own life so that she could live. There was no verbal commitment and no promises given - but Rudra became Paro's fort and even the wind that touched Paro's body went through Rudra first.

Today, there is a role reversal where Paro has become Rudra's fortress. He saved her life and she is saving his honour. Brave wife of a brave man as one can see, she stands up for Rudra against the world. You cannot touch him because she stands in the way. If she has sworn to restore Rudra's life brick by brick , you cannot move her from that resolve. The way she has been intelligently warding off those women from attacking Rudra is COMMENDABLE. The smooth operator that she has become to crease out all the crinkles that Rudra creates due to his impulsive nature , the way she stayed calm today in the eye of the storm by handling the burnt hand and the long sleeve excuse , the way she kept smiling at Rudra fighting back tears and putting up a great show of a happy wife - all this requires both common sense and endurance. And how can you miss her steely resolve and challenge to Kaaki Sa... "You can't touch my Rudra. Deal with it."

This is what makes you proud of this relationship- the said and unsaid promise to always take care of each-other, come what may. Maybe there is no romance , there are no sweet conversations, there is no typical picture of a happy marriage... but Rudra and Paro are surely doing what a married couple is supposed to do - To always take care of each-other. And they do.

Having said that, I liked how Rudra's frustration over his passion and emotions for Paro was played out today in the first scene- the caged tiger skip and hop, the gulping down of glasses of water, the tossing and turning on the bed, the sulking quilt match . This was opposite to Paro's calm reaction who got the tension of the situation as a 'woman' but she demurely swallowed it like a calm lady. Apart from that KaakiSa setting up the hotmilk accident was a machination of a devious mind and i liked how they showed it. This detailing is what makes me respect the writing of RangRasiya.

So, yes, ladies and gentlemen, a good show.

Just two glitches/hiccups - Paro's reaction to the pain that the hotmilk caused was very unconvincing. The burns of hotmilk are like heat seeping into your bone and its more unbearable than you can imagine . We needed a more painful reaction than what we got. Secondly, we needed more clarity to Rudra's shocked reaction to Paro's smiling tears in the second last frame. The actors' expressions were spot on but the viewer may or may not understand if Rudra saw Paro's tears. Awesome job in all other aspects.

Awesome analysis as usual !!
Agree with the last para !!
I have some questions also , the hot milk was splattered on her whole hand , then why there is a blister on the wrist only !!??
How come Rudra missed the marks on her wrist , the very wrist he is so fond of holding at every given opportunity ?!?!
And Paro should not keep quite about Mohini's devious plan of domestic violence , the social workers should know what an abusive mom in law Mohini is :/ :/

Edited :: oh yeah I did not get the expression of Rudra in the last scene !! He obviously did not see the blister . May be wanted to ask what happened to her !!!

Thank you. I think the logic has been put on the backburner for drama.😆... its k. Chaltaa hai. The hotmilk burn looks a lot uglier and maybe they didn't want that. Rudra will find out because they showed you Paro trying to cover the burnt part with her fingers.

I think Paro will keep quiet because she is taking this war as a personal war. Complaining to Rudra will rake up the whole haweli.

Hi Vicky, like how the roles have reversed, Paro's quiet dignity and calm demeanour is commendable. Glad that the show conveys the message, that one does not have to be shouting from the rooftops and be brash. A brave woman can be like Paro, silent, calm yet strong.
Like how you pointed out the small flaws as well towards the end of the episode, agree, was a bit confused. Hope it gets sorted out tomorrow.

Agreed completely with each and every word of yours. Personally, I have been enjoying the episodes and they maintain the consistency which is perhaps one of the best thing about this show. I couldn't agree more with the last para, especially. Paro's reaction wasn't convincing enough as burns caused by boiling hot substance is a lot more severe than shown. And also, I couldn't understand either if Rudra sensed that something was wrong with Paro. Other than that, good stuff.

Bang on post 👏.I simply loved the following two points in your post very much.
1)Maybe there is no romance , there are no sweet conversations, there is no typical picture of a happy marriage... but Rudra and Paro are surely doing what a married couple is supposed to do - To always take care of each-other. And they do.

2)how Rudra's frustration over his passion and emotions for Paro was played out today in the first scene- the caged tiger skip and hop, the gulping down of glasses of water, the tossing and turning on the bed, the sulking quilt match .

I totally agree with the following points:

The best dialogue of today's episode was Rudra's to Paro
about the rat.I rofl🤣."Patni vidwa ho jayegi uski, daya aarahi hain choohe pe.Waise bhi jo cheez mujhe pareshaan karegi tujhe tho pasand hi aayegi na"It was total hubby wala dialogue.
I am happy to have read your post:)

Vicky...waited for your post today...as usual it's brilliant...and catches the essence of the episode!
👏👏

I absolutely loved the way Rudra and Paro reacted to their unexpected closeness! The sudden dryness of mouth...inability to breathe..awkwardness ...was beautifully portrayed by both and the reactions were in keeping with their characters...Paro affected but proceeding to the next task ...and Rudra walking Away and then typical of him..pulling the mat from her hand and throwing it away😆.

Even after he told her to sleep on the bed and why, she hesitated to lie down first while he tried to calm himself down by drinking water...and he realised she was waiting and indicated that she should go ahead...but finally she did only when he sat done himself...the whole scene was really naturally done!
And Rudra us beginning to realise and correct his spontaneous acts of anger/frustration...like pulling the quilt and then turning back to offer it to her...😳

Kakisa was at her evil best certainly and speaking from the story point of view her brain thought of some diabolical schemes...she used her knowledge of Rudra's anger and reactions well at the dining table..sending Paro away and making sure Rudra went storming in as well!

The hot milk idea was pure evil and seeing the steam coming out of the glass it did seem like Paro should have expressed pain louder than she did...or even felt more pain than she did before thinking about the situation and concluding it was kakisas doing!

Happy though that Paro has realised and resolved to protect Rudra come what may...her brain worked quickly and came up with the long sleeves idea which she explained away so cutely that Phulwari was floored and even the senior SW was convinced😃

Kaki is no less and kept trying with the bangle scene...and yes..agree with you that it wasn't clear whether rudra realised Paro was in pain...in fact at first glance I even felt he was hurt or angry at her closing her eyes as though wearing bangles from his hand was painful...don't know if that's what he thought..but it seemed that way to me...a throwback to the earlier forced choodi scene maybe? I am sure we will know tomorrow!

It's heartening to see this role reversal...Paro is not just saying she loves him but actually fighting for all that important to him,...and I am sure Rudra will gradually come around to seeing this and this will form the foundation for their relationship to grow!

Nice analysis. It was an okayish episode for me. I really liked the first scene, the awareness, the quilt hogging et al. Though it was altogether too short and a morning after scene would have been nice!

The rest of it, which was Mohini's dubiously scientific burning strategy didn't work for me 😆
I don't know how lucrative is a masala business operating out of a small town/village in Rajasthan is, but I am going to take a guess and say it must be very lucrative for Mohini to constantly burn people. Stop it already.
