Star Plus' Imlie remains one of the most memorable television shows of recent years, and a major reason behind its success was the chemistry shared by Fahmaan Khan and Sumbul Touqeer Khan. Their portrayal of Aryan Singh Rathore and Imlie won hearts across the country, with fans continuing to celebrate their onscreen bond even years after the show's run. Interestingly, while their pairing continues to enjoy immense popularity among viewers, Fahmaan and Sumbul are no longer on talking terms today, making memories from their time on the show even more nostalgic for fans.
In a recent conversation with Filmy Gyaan, Fahmaan opened up about the most challenging final day of shooting he has ever experienced in his career. The actor revealed that wrapping up Imlie was emotionally draining for several reasons and remains a day he can never forget. Apart from bidding farewell to a show that had become a significant chapter in his life, Fahmaan was also battling serious health issues at the time. Recalling the experience, the actor shared, ''Imlie's last day for a lot of reasons. Mujhe dengue hogaya tha. When I was shooting for the last sequence of Imlie, I had dengue. I was on high 103/104 wala fever, drips chhadh rahe thhe mujhe room mein mere. Aata hoon main, drips chada raha tha and wapas jaa ke shoot kar raha tha.''
While we were shooting, we were both talking to each other, Imlie and Aryan were talking to each other and we were crying, the entire set was crying because they knew that it was the end of the era for those two. Everybody was crying, so it was a very emotional situation there and plus the fever made it even more worse for me.
