So take a chill pill you all, is it really that hard to not clash and crash all the time?

And i did post the Udyog Parva citation in the last VH thread too, and No! "We" did not discuss it as this "We" was too small in number.

I don't think many people did read it nor will people go through all the pages of the closed one to find them either since not all are as dedicated as some of us and even i do not have the patience to go through it to find those citations and where it is discussed.
And many people don't really seem to care as they already have their "facts" straightened out from books and old MB, and are happy with them.

understand your not less than noble cause.. best way is to clarify when a query is raised or incorrect fact is posted.. what do you say? how sure are we that this thread is noticed? unless we continue this chatting or discussion and keep it to the first page forever?

And the Suta thing i asked about, so if Duryodhana calls his charioteer ' My Suta' and his son as 'Suta's son". Krishna, Dhritrashtra, Bhishma all call Karna " The son of Charioteer", " Sutas son".

Then why is it wrong if Draupadi too calls him charioteer's son.

And why is that a caste thing? Duryodhana makes it sound like an occupation thing. Krishna too.

Because caste= occupation in those days which is not the case today?

In school we are taught in political science that , ' Casteism is neither wrong nor negative, it meant to be loyal to your own caste. It is only in later period that it became a thing of prejudice and favoritism.'

@Di or i can save the url of the thread.😊

Medha.. this has been discussed N number of times.. am tired.. and I think we are discussing VH and why swayamvar comes in again and again I dont get it.. you know we were not talking about addressing but rejecting.. anyway...
if you say Suta is an occupation, why does Draupadi say she will not take a Suta for her lord.. was he not King of Anga on that day?
Yes he was indeed a Suta's son by his father's occupation.. but not a Suta by his occupation.. so her mention was caste or occupation? am I making any sense?

This subject has already been discussed several times before, it flags for moral policing, chatting and arguing on a personal level and discussion of other threads, for which the topic calls for a closure.
This thread will be reviewed and comments related to VH, will be merged in the VH thread All discussions- before-during-after Dice game/VH here only#2 , while the rest of the comments will remain here.
