Varun and Veer served in the army for 8 years. Both their fathers were in the army too and when they died young, the boys took over. After leaving the army they were employed by their Chief army, Captain Ram to serve for a secret department in the government where they do a similar job but behind the curtains and without any rules. This secret association was called Back Ops Inc. Apart from close immediate family; no one was allowed to know about them. Aashi worked as the IT genius over there. Before that she used to work with the security system department for the government. She is intelligent and has a talent in tracking down suspicious activities going on. She just joined and now Maan was going to join the team. Other team menbers are Yash and Meera. The story is taking place in Delhi
So guys that will be a short story that I will be writing. It will involve Human trafficking in India and how girls were being sent to Mexico. The team will be dealing with that one organization which conducts human trafficking and there will be lots of painful stuff that happens. However you ill see the bond they share, how love stories will develop, how they will support each other through their hard times and the reason why they are doing this job. To make a difference!!
Geet woke up at once...she was disappointed looking at the time but then she jumped out of the bed, freshened up, wore her shorts and loose top and went directly into the kitchen.
What happened? You're not going to the concert? Geet glared at her brother. He was teasing her. He had told her that he was not going to wake her up today. She needed rest.
Veer came by her side, touched her forehead and smiled. Her fever was down. Her face looked so much better. Her being sick always made him worried.
Geet got her cereals and went to sit besides Veer. I'm fine now. You should not be worried all the time. It was just a flu. You know I take care of myself a lot better now.
Veer sighted and kissed her hair. Yes I know. Anyways, I've already taken out your medicines. Have them. Geet nodded. Since you feel better, do you wanna go out? Aashi is coming over, she just called.
At the same time the door bell rang and when the door opened, Aashi and Varun walked in. Veer went straight toward Aashi, they hugged and then he kissed her right on her lips. They met after 2 whole months. Varun grunted, at least have some respect in front of her brother. Veer just chuckled.
Varun went and hugged Geet...You feeling better sweetheart? He patted her head. Then he bent to her ears, and whispered, Maan is coming tomorrow
Geet was shocked. She wasn't sure what she heard. She was happy. Maan always cared so much for her. She's always liked him but he never asked her out on a date. But then, he always showed taht he liked her so much. She was always so confused about the way he feels about her. Varun was the only person she discusses to about this topic.
They all went and sat in the living room. Before Geet sat down, Veer reminded her about her medicines. Geet rolled her eyes and went back to the kitchen. He took Aashi on his lap and kissed her forehead.
So, how is she really doing? Varun asked. He sounded very concerned.
She's much better now. Just have to make sure she has her medicines everyday. She is actually responding much better to the new ones. It just makes her feel weak sometimes. On top of that she's anemic, when she gets her periods, she has to have someone around her all the time. Other than that, I've never seen her better that she is at present
Geet jumped into the conversation at once. Don't worry Varun, Im great now!! I don't even remember when was the last time I went to the hospital. I'm a strong girl. Everyone smiled. She always joked about this. Varun patted the seat besides him and Geet went over.
Anyways Veer, we wont go out today. Aashi was able to gather some intel about the Human trafficking organization. We got a name, ZONE. Its base is in Bangalore and they conduct operation in famous cities such as Delhi and Mumbai. Then Aashi took over.
She got up from Veer's lap and sat besides him. Veer was always amazed by her enthusiasm towards her work and how she turned all-professional even in front of him sometimes.
She took out her laptop and opened up the file. All the information about this organization popped up. There was not much, but enough to begin with. Geet was reading a book in the meanwhile and was not paying much attention. She was used to this now. The team always got together at their house when they had to discuss initially. After that, they only met at the headquarters, which was 45 mins away and was meant to be secretive and only team members had access to. There, they had all the resources they need to work with.
When they were done talking about work, everyone looked serious. Their faces were hard. Human trafficking is not a light issue after all. Even though they deal with these stuffs in their lives all the time, it doesn't make it easier.
It was already past 12 and everyone was hungry. Veer and Aashi went into the kitchen to make lunch and Geet and Varun decided to give them time together alone. They went for a round in the car.
In the Kitchen
Aashi did not really know how to cook. She climbed onto the slab and watched Veer take out the groceries. He just smiled at her. He was making soup and salad. After putting everything to cook and preparing the salad, he went towards Aashi, lifted her into his arms and went into the living room.
Both sat quietly for a while. Then Aashi traced over his face from his forehead to his cheeks with her fingers...you look really tired. Dis you get enough sleep?
Geet had high fever since two days and I had to take care of her. Did not sleep much. He was stroking her hair and feeling her soft body pressed against his hard one. I missed you so much. I don't get it why to become our tem member you had to go all the way to Mumbai to meet captain Ram and sign the documents.
Aashi laughed...you are complaining like a teenager. Kiss me. He bent down and took her lips softly.
It was such a good feeling to have Aashi in his arms right now. She was much younger than he was, but she was so matured and always stood by him. When Varun came to know about them, he did not like it. His job was dangerous, he did not want Aashi to spend her life with someone like him. But Aashi was confident and Varun finally agreed. Veer knew that his best friend totally approved of him for his sister. They've known each other for too long now.
Aashi was tired. She just came back yesterday. They both needed rest. She was already dozing in his arms...ashu...ashu! Wake up baby. Lets have lunch then you can take a nap.
They got up and shortly after Geet and Varun came in. They had a quiet lunch and Veer and Aashi went to take a nap.
Varun and Geet sat together in the living room. They did not talk about Maan at all when they went out earlier and now Geet wanted to ask him.
Why is he leaving the army? He doesn't like it?
No dear, he knew he would join us sometimes later, so he decided that now is the right time.
No one spoke after that and then Varun spoke again.
I know you like him Geet. He likes you a lot too. I don't know how deep it is but he cares a lot about you. He never told you anything because you are still very young. He respects your brother and Maan will always protect you. He will not want to hurt you. If you like him, you need to give him time. And one more thing Geet, Maan is a grown up man, so don't feel bad about his relationships. He's just a guy in the end.
Geet just looked at him. It was true. She was still very young. And Maan was older and more mature than her. She smiled at Varun and said thanks.
Well at least he doesn't consider me as his sister. That would be awkward.
Varun laughed. Hahaha, that of course, I still remember when he went to fetch you from college and everyone though he was your brother. He was so annoyed and made sure that you don't consider him your brother.
Ok go sleep a little now. you need rest and tell Aashi that I'll come get her tomorrow or you guys can come over to drop her and meet Maan at the same time.
What are you gonna do alone tonight Varun. Stay over!! We can watch a movie.
Varun smiled. Don't worry baby, im gonna find something to do. He defitely knew what he wanted!! He hugged Geet and kissed her hair and left. Geet continued to read her book on the couch and soon fell asleep
Aashi was still sleeping. Even after 2 hours. Veer realized that she indeed was really tired. She worked really hard. He went outside to get some water and saw Geet sleeping on the couch. She was cold. He carried her to her bedroom and covered her with her blanket. She did look better. He was glad. He then wondered where Varun was.
When he went back into the room, Aashi was awake. She smiled at him and patted the side of the bed. Veer took her into his arms once more.
I want you...she said. Veer was surprised. They were together for almost one year now and they did become intimate a lot. But they did not go all the way. He wanted to make sure that she understands that she was special. Not like the previous relationships he has had.

I also told him to stay over tonight and watch a movie with us, but he said he's gonna do something else. Well, at least I aksed! She then went for a shower.
Veer laughed!! Aashi looked at him and made a face. What!! Because he's your brother!!
He's gonna find someone today, make sure she's not the clingy type and then get his work done. You should be proud of me, im so seriously involved and madly in love now. that's better right?
Aashi just smiled at him. Both her brothers were complicated. They don't want to get settled. Even though their parents got divorced amicably, they still don't themselves enough with relationships. She just hoped they changed with time.
The next day, Geet was excited. She wanted to meet Maan. She was gonna see him after a very long time. Veer made sure that she took all her medicines and they went out.
Aashi was looking good today. And she looked better and her face was glowing. She had well rested and she was really happy.
They reached Varun's apartment which was 20 mins away. Aashi went to her room as she had to go out meet her friend colleagues. Maan was sleeping. He was just back. Geet was stuck with the two guys and they were talking about the new developments about the Human trafficking ring. They were talking about contacting captain Ram and the other team members, yash, meera and dev.
Geet sat on the couch and finally drifted to sleep. When Varun and Veer noticed her, they were surprised. Veer knew that she was gonna be weak. She's just recovered from fever and the medicines weaken her even more. Varun got her a blanket.
Maan came out at that moment. Veer hugged him. We look forward to you joining our team Maan. Maan hugged him back and patted him on the back. You guys do a good job...it's a great thing I will no longer be binded by official rules from the government. At last soldiers who put their lives at risk will get to make the decisions.
Then he kneeled down near Geet and stroked her hair and kissed her on the cheek.
Veer bent down and talked slowly, she's still off limits.
She's no longer an innocent girl now Veer, If I want to date her, I don't have to take your permission. On top of that, we accepted your relationship with Aashi, and you your chance. No one interfered.
Veer trusted him with his back, but with his sister, he was not so sure. he just threw him a glare. He's not letting anyone hurt his sister. She was an adult now but for him, she is still his kid. I'm serious with Aashi maan, just know the difference.
How is she? Varun said she was down with fever the last two days!!
She's much better. Just a bit weak...not that she will tell us.
Just then Geet woke up and sat up on the couch. She did look a bit weak. She smiled and looked up at Maan. He hugged her. He is seeing her after 3 whole years. They didn't even speak a lot on the phone.
Maan looked at Geet. She was even more beautiful. How are you Geet?
I'm perfect Maan. She stood up and kissed him on the cheek. I'm glad, maan said.
Then Veer came forward and touched her forehead. You're not completely perfect right now baby. Anyway, we need to go now. you should have dinner and sleep early if you wanna be ready for college tomorrow.
They finally left Varuns place and were in the car.
I was talking to Varun. You might have to stay in his apartment for like two weeks at the end of this month. I have to go to Mexico. I went there before and I know the place. It will be easier for me to get information from people I already know. I don't want you to be alone at home.
That's fine. I've stayed over at their place before. Im gonna sleep with Aashi.
Maan will be there too...veer added. He looked at her for a while and geet could notice how worried he was.
She rose up and kissed his cheek. Don't worry veer. I like him, but I am not getting involved until I'm sure he is serious.
Maan was pacing in his room. He was confused. Was it a good idea to come back here. Even though joining the army was his ultimate goal, he was not completely happy during these years. He wanted something else. Rite now, after meeting geet, he knew that she was the one he wanted. But one thing he is sure about is that he's not settling down ever. That makes geet off limits automatically. But he cannot et his head around this at all. he knew that she was expecting something from him this time. She was always a very good friend to him. He doesn't want to hurt her. and even though he said that he didn't need veer's permission, he knew that Geet will always want to please her brother. And Veer was right, he was not the right person for his sister. The right thing he should do is let her go. She is just infatuated towards him right now. it will go eventually as she grows older.
Suddenly someone just walked into his room. What the f... Aashi!! you didn't knock!
I did. You didn't here. He quickly wore his shirt and his pants over his boxers and went over to her. he hugged her tight.

Hmm, I am big now. Veer is really good to me. Come let me tell you. She sat on the bed cross legged and motioned him to come. Maan sighted, he knew he had to listen to her talks. She always behaved like a kid sometimes. After half an hour, Varun called them for dinner and they ate together after a long time.
Few weeks went by very quick. Finally all the team members were gonna meet at the headquarter today and the boss, Captain Ram was coming too. Apart from the team members, no one knew about the place. Geet was the only exception. By the time they reached there, everyone was there. Veer swiped his card and put his fingers on the fingerprint switch and then they were in.
Geet walked inside. She has come here often but everytime she visits it again, she is amazed. Theses people present here were the most talented people in the country. They are classified and their work done over here gets almost no recognition. But at the end, they work only for their satisfaction that they have indeed made the world a better place. Everyone were meeting each other together after a long time. Geet saw maan. She smiled and went over to him.
Hi geet! I didn't know you were gonna come too. Geet was surprised. Was he not happy to see her?
I usually come with Veer. I like it over here. I brought my laptop with me though. Im gonna do my work while you guys are upto saving the world. Maan just smiled at her and went over to yash and meera. He avoided me geet thought.
Finally the team got to work.
I've been to Mexico before. That's why im flying there next week. I don't need anyone to come with me. I will just gather some intel, get some names for you guys to work on, then we can proceed from there.
Captain Ram continued with the discussion. Ok just a brief overview about whats happening.

Captain Ram knew that geet was still very dependent on her brother and he couldn't help thinking about the risks associated with him doing such a job.

Geet got into the car with maan. It was awkward. He was silent and for the longest time no one said anything.
Im so glad that you are fine geet. You cannot believe how scared I was when I came to know about it.
Geet could hear the concern in his voice. Im fine now maan. I try to make everyone understand that. Maan looked her and realized how good she looked.

Maan got out of the car and went to meet the other.

Back in the car, maan looked at geet. I need to talk to you. He looked serious like always. Then his expression changed to the softest one and he held he touched her chin lightly. He sighted and finally talked.
I like you geet. ive always cared a lot for you but you were too small and too innocent for me to go out with you. He smiled then. 3 years ago you were probably just a kid. Geet glared at him. Maan laughed.
Then he became even more serious. When I saw you in that hospital bed 8 months ago, I realized how important you were to me. I never felt so miserable in my life before. I had to leave and you were still not conscious. The doctors knew you were gonna be fine. It was just a matter of time. I had to leave. because I got deployed to the border once again. It was so hard to leave for the first time. When you woke up and starting getting better, I knew I could no longer be in the army. I did not want to join the team before that, but it was my best bet if I wanted to be close to you and my family.
Geet just stared at him. Maan had just told her that he was right here mostly because of her. she thought he liked her, but this was beyond that. She's always been in love with maan. Even when he used to avoid her and went out with other girls. She understood that he had his need and that she was not yet ready to be the girl he needed. When she was sick, she knew everyone was worried about her, but today she realized how she scared everyone. How they care so deeply about her. Tears started to form in her eyes. She never knew maan was there with her when she was in the hospital.
She got up from her seat and hugged him. I'm so sorry. I didn't know I scared everyone so much. Im so sorry.
Maan stroked her back. He hugged her tight. And kissed her hair. God help him but he loved her. he's loved her since he was much younger. He was the one to take care of her when Veer and Varun were deployed. He felt responsible for her and that was what confused him about his feelings. But today he was sure. As they grew up, geet was a good friend of his and always supported his decisions. She was a strong girl, kind, affectionate, fun and innocent. Just the perfect match for him. He always felt protective towards her since her health was not always best. He was aware about everything. All her health issues and he knew how to take care of her.
He kissed her again on her forehead and geet looked up at him. Not losing eye contact, he took her lips. Geet looked shocked. Maan knew it was her first kiss and she would be mad at him for kissing her without telling her. but it was gonna be fun to tease her later.
Kiss me geet! As maan seeked entrance into her mouth, she let him in and genly he explored her. then slowly he retreated and looked at geet. Her eyes were closed. He pecked her softly and tucked her hair behind her ears. Open your eyes geet. Look at me. She opened them and stared at maan and hugged him. She kissed his chest over his shirt and maan just smiled.
Lets go they are waiting for us. Maan said.
They both got out of the car and went towards their table. Maan took geet hands and they sat together. Varun winked at geet and she blushed. She kept stealing eyes from her brother. She knew that Veer also liked maan. he just did not want her to get hurt. After having dinner and joking around everyone went towards their respective cars. Geet said goodbye to everyone. She was not going to the headquarters tomorrow.
Maan came to her and kissed her on the cheek. He whispered. Remind me to teach you how to kiss next time! Geet glared at him. You're not the first person I kissed. Understand?
Really? The last person did not do a good job then!
Geet got angry and went into the car.
Veer came to maan and looked at him seriously. Don't hurt her ever maan. I hope I can trust you with that.
Maan just nodded. He would kill himself before he'd hurt her.
Before going into his car, he glanced at geet and walked over to her and opened the door. You kiss amazing sweetheart. Better than anyone else.
Geet was still mad at him and just nodded.
Everyone went back home.
Veer opened the door and carried geet inside. She fell asleep during the ride. He put her on her bed and went to take a nap. As he stared at the ceiling he thought about maan. He realized that he indeed trusted him with geet. Soon he fell asleep.
As veer woke up, he noticed that geet was sleeping besides him. He wasn't surprised. She did that very often. Whenever she had to ask him something or tell him something.
