Hey Sabs 🤗 Not feeling too good. There was a disconnect with y day episode I agree. But the best part was we have returned to the original story of Soldier and Suspect. The drama and intensity will be back too. There was too much of a comfortable domesticity settling in. I guess it was done for future reference between them.
Plus the haveli track needs to be cut down...Masham Chachi/massi doesn't add drama to the tale as Thankkur Sa did. Her dialogue n taunts r getting repetitive now.
The episode picked up with Rudra's appearance. He's a patriotic soldeir. He knows his mission was correct and that he didn't betray his motherland nor his fellow colleagues. Now he will use the marriage idea given on a platter by his kaki to tighten the noose around Paro'a neck. He is relying on her hatred of the guy who took everything from her to detest the complete notion of marriage with him of all people. But Paro baiSa is no less and just as loyal to hr own. Lets see who breaks who.
It was a treat watching Mausam Sa spluttering into silence when Rudra took her offer up & conveniently turned her trap on her.

Sofna, sorry to hear you are not too well!! 🤗❤️ Hope it passes quickly!!
@The return of the soldier-suspect storyline: Yes the little truce is over. And we will soon be back to daggers drawn. Only thing is this time, since we've invested in the characters so much, it will be our blood they'll be letting. 😭
@ The Kakisa track: Yes it is becoming stale - but in Kakisa I see shades of another irrepressible vamp in a current Nautanki show on Colors, and that vamp never went out of business for ages!! So I'm pretty sure we are not going to rid of her anytime soon. But we deserve a break. So CVs, please replace even if with the Thakur.
@ Rudra's gambit: I'm beginning to despair for Rudra. He has yet again underestimated his opponent. Paro's made of sterner stuff than he. And he might have been able to wear her down with time, but he HAS no time!!
@ Kakisa silenced: That was sooo sweet! 😃
Get well soon, Sofna!! 😊

Sabs, I think the patchy acting was more from Kali Prasad Ji who usually is very impeccable in such scenes, Ananya Ji for lacking the punch that was needed to be delivered to Rudra but I guess the punch got lost in Rudra's return favor to Kakisa and not to mention some jumpy expressions on Sanaya's face a bit of a dragging from the actress playing Maithili. Actress playing Sunheri was her usual cheery self.

Agreed! I think, considering that acting was by-and-large below par, it was the director's fault. One slip-up here and there I can blame just on the actor, but across the board?!! The director was having an off-day, me thinks!!
